at Skye's Company. Skye was working when a woman entered. "Skye Alcazar," the woman said. "Yes, that's me," Skye replied, looking up at her. "I'm Kendall Hart-Slater," she added. Skye got up and shook her hand. "Thank you for meeting me. Do you need anything?" Skye asked. "No, thanks," Kendall replied. Skye sat back at her desk as Kendall sat down across from her. "I've been looking at your makeup company, Fusion," Skye said. "Yes, I know you've been trying to steal it," Kendall responded. "Yes, I have another company that I run. I steal companies and sell them. It was my late ex-husband's company," Skye explained. "My company is in trouble. I'm now the only one running it, but it's not for sale," Kendall said. "Well, I have an idea. I also have a fashion line. We could team up and make your makeup company better than ever," Skye suggested. "I've been reading about you as a businesswoman. You're very smart, and my mother has told me about you," Kendall said. "Who is your mother?" Skye asked. "Erica Kane," Kendall replied. "Oh, your mother and I aren't friends," Skye noted. "I know. I want to save my company. I started it with my friends in my kitchen, making lipstick. It's hard being Erica Kane's daughter in this business," Kendall admitted. "I"m sure it is. So, do we have a deal?" Skye asked. "Yes, but I want a lawyer and a contract," Kendall said. "I agree. I'll call my lawyers. How long are you staying here?" Skye asked. "For a while. My husband came with me," Kendall replied. "That's nice. Do you have a room at the Quartermaine Hotel?" Skye inquired. "Yes, we do," Kendall confirmed. "Good. Have my brother AJ bill me," Skye instructed. "Thank you. I will be in touch," Kendall said. "Good," Skye responded. Kendall left.
