Finding You, Part 8, Chapter 48 — At Skye — Skye had just told her children about Rae, who was still there. "Mother, Grandmother will make it," Lila Rae said, holding her mother's hand. "Yes, she will," Skye replied. "Did you call Genevieve?" Skylar asked. "Yes, Genevieve wishes she could come, but she has an examination this week," Skye answered. "We will be here for you and Grandmother," Lila Rae said. "I know you will. I just hope Mother can get through the double mastectomy," Skye said. "She will," Luis reassured. "I'm glad you're all here," Skye said, hugging her children.
At the police station — Alexis's office — Alexis was reviewing a case when Ric entered. "Alexis, how are you doing?" Ric asked. "Good, it's good to be back to work," Alexis replied. "That's good," Ric said. "I heard you bought the old lakehouse. Why?" Alexis inquired. "It's where Molly grew up," Ric explained. "Yes, but it still holds memories for us and Skye with Jax," Alexis said. "I know, but Skye and I can make new memories there," Ric responded. "Ric, I'm sorry about this, but Skye is going to take Lorenzo back, and you will be hurt," Alexis warned. "You don't know that," Ric replied. "Yes, I do, and you know it too," Alexis said. "I won't be hurt over this," Ric insisted. "Alright," Alexis replied. Ric left.
At Rae's house — Rae was drinking tea when there was a knock on the door. It was John. "John, why are you here?" Rae asked. "Skye called me and told me you need me," John explained. "Will Skye be sure she's not done that?" Rae asked. "Skye worries about you. I heard about the cancer, and I'm sorry," John said. "It's nice that you came, but we broke up," Rae said. "Yes, we did, but I still care about you, Rae, always, and I'm here for you," John assured. Rae broke down and cried, and John pulled her into his arms. "You're going to fight this. You fought a serial killer, nothing breaks Rae Cumming," John said. "No, you're right. I guess I have to have the double mastectomy," Rae said. "You're not alone," John reminded her. "I know," Rae replied.
