Finding You, Part 8, Chapter 9
At the Quartermaine mansion, Alan and Monica were having coffee. "Monica, you know nothing will ever happen again between Rae and me," Alan said. "Alan, I know that you love me and not Rae," Monica replied. "Good," Alan said, and they shared a kiss. "So, are you happy that Skye left Lorenzo?" Monica asked. "Yes, I am, but I know deep down Skye will come back to Lorenzo," Alan replied. "Maybe not. I heard from AJ that Skye and Ric had a drink last night at the hotel," Monica said. "Really? I would love Skye with Ric over Lorenzo," Alan said. "Thanks, Daddy," Skye said as she entered the room. "Skye, I'm just worried about you, and I want the best for you," Alan said. "I know you do," Skye replied. "So, how did it go with Genevieve?" Alan asked. "Great. That place you brought her is perfect. Thank you for what you did for my little girl," Skye said. "I enjoy taking care of Genevieve, and I know she will make a great lawyer," Alan said. "Yes, she will. Genevieve called me today; she will be home in a couple of weeks," Skye said. "That's great," Alan responded. "Yes, it is. So, are you seeing Ric?" Monica asked. "We just had a drink, that's all," Skye said. "Yes, and at Lila Rae's wedding, you both shared a dance," Monica added. "I know you both want me to move on, but I love Lorenzo, no matter if I take him back or not," Skye said. "You can do better," Alan said. "Please, just support me," Skye pleaded. "Always," Alan assured her. "Thanks," Skye said.
At Lorenzo's club, Lorenzo was working when a woman entered. "Lorenzo," the woman said. "Do you need anything?" Lorenzo asked. "No. So, have you told Skye I'm in town?" the woman inquired. "No, I haven't," Lorenzo replied. "I heard you and Skye are having an issue," she said. "Yes, but Skye and I will work it out," Lorenzo replied. "I'm over you," the woman said. "I'm glad. So, are you seeing anyone?" Lorenzo asked. "No, I give up on love," she said. "Don't you have?" Lorenzo asked. "Not yet," she replied. "Oh, she just like Tea," Lorenzo commented. "I'm sure she is," the woman said.
