Finding You Part 8 Chapter 14 ~
At Alexis' house~
"So it was you," Stefan asked.
"Yes, I feel so guilty. I was so upset that Kristin was leaving. I'm sure I've never been driving; Skye thinks we should frame Kristin for it," Alexis said.
"She's right. I will help you," Stefan said.
There was a knock on the door. It was Skye.
"Come in. I was just talking to Stefan. We can trust him," Alexis said.
"You want to help us?" Skye asked.
"Yes, Alexis is my sister, and Kristin hurt her in the past. Well, both of you, and it's time she pays," Stefan said.
"Ric is going to help us, too," Skye said.
"You told Ric?" Alexis asked.
"Yes, you can trust him. Ric isn't going to put the mother of his child behind bars," Skye said.
"No, he's not," Alexis agreed.
"Can you both live with this?" Stefan asked.
"Yes, I've lived with worse," Skye said.
"I can," Alexis replied.
"Alright, let me handle the rest," Stefan said.
"Are you sure?" Alexis asked.
"Yes, Alexis, I would do anything for you," Stefan said. He kissed her on the cheek and left.
"Alexis, are you feeling guilty?" Skye asked.
"Yes, I am. Can I trust you with this?" Alexis asked.
"Alexis, I hate her more than I will ever hate you," Skye said.
"That's good to know," Alexis replied.
"Let's talk about the service. Anastasia was never a religious person. Let's keep it simple," Skye said.
"I agree. Do you have any pictures of Anastasia?" Alexis asked.
"Just one. Kristin was never a mother who took pictures," Skye said.
"Oh," Alexis said.
"We can have the wake at my family's hotel," Skye suggested.
"Sure. Skye, I'm glad my daughter had you in her life," Alexis said.
"She was the best of both of us," Skye said.
"Yes, she was," Alexis replied, taking Skye's hand.
"Alexis, don't blame yourself," Skye said.
"It's hard not to," Alexis admitted.
"I know," Skye said.
Alexis looked tired.
"I should go. Genevieve is in town, and I want to visit her. You should rest," Skye advised.
"I will," Alexis said.
Skye left.
At Alexander's house~
Alexander was on the phone, facing the wall, when a woman came up behind him and took the phone.
"Excuse me," Alexander said as he turned and saw Genevieve.
"Genevieve, you're home," Alexander said.
"Yes, I am. Did you miss me?" Genevieve asked.
"Always," Alexander said, kissing her and leaning her against his desk.
"Oh, Alexander, I miss you too," Genevieve said.
"Why are you here?" Alexander asked.
"Anastasia is gone," Genevieve replied.
"Yes, I heard. How are you? I know you loved her," Alexander said.
"I hate it. I hope Kristin pays. You sure see Alexis?" Genevieve asked.
"I will. So, how long are you here?" Alexander asked.
"For the weekend. I want you before I go," Genevieve said.
"What do you want?" Alexander asked, touching her hair.
"I want you to make love to me. Fuck me," Genevieve said.
"Oh, I will," Alexander replied.
"Do you have time for a break?" Genevieve asked.
"Yes, let's get some lunch," Alexander suggested.
"I don't want food," Genevieve said.
"It's in the middle of the day," Alexander reminded.
"Fine," Genevieve agreed.
They left.
