At Skye's office, Skye and Kendall were meeting. "I'm sorry about your sister. If you want to wait, we can," Kendall said. "No, I need to work," Skye replied. "Alright, here is a contract my lawyer drew up," Kendall said. "Thank you. I will have my lawyer review it. I think this is a good thing," Skye said. "Me too," Kendall replied. "So, is Zack going to help Carly after all?" Skye asked. "I'm not sure. My husband is a good businessman, but sometimes he just wants to save people," Kendall said. "Yeah, why isn't he helping you?" Skye asked. "I don't want Zack to save me," Kendall replied. "I get it," Skye said. "I know you would," Kendall responded. "So, how long are you staying?" Skye asked. "For a while. I like it here," Kendall said. "Good," Skye said as Genevieve came in with a bag in her hand. "Genevieve, did you get a dress for tonight?" Skye asked. "Yes, Mother," Genevieve replied. "Kendall Hart-Slater, this is my daughter Genevieve," Skye said. "Nice to meet you," Kendall said. "You too. Mother is helping your company," Genevieve asked. "We are merging together," Kendall said. "Nice," Genevieve said. "So, let me see the dress you bought for tonight," Skye said. "Hot date?" Kendall asked. "No, I'm having dinner with my father, and Mother is making a big deal out of it," Genevieve said. She pulled the dress out of the bag; it was a black dress. "A black dress," Skye asked. "Yes, and some red shoes," Genevieve said. "Why did you pick a black one?" Skye asked. "Because I like it. If anything happens, you can bury me in it," Genevieve said. "Genevieve Rae! You're not going to get shot while you're having dinner with your father tonight. Well, you just try," Skye asked. "Whatever," Genevieve said. "Skye, let me know what your lawyer thinks of the contract," Kendall said. "Sure," Skye replied. Kendall left.
'Genevieve, you need to meet your father halfway. You're going to need him one day," Skye said. "No, I don't. We all are better off without him in our lives. Are you sure he's my father?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, Genevieve, he's your father. You and Lorenzo are so much alike," Skye said. "Take it back! I'm not like Daddy!" Genevieve said. Skye touched Genevieve's chin. "Genevieve, you're stubborn just like Lorenzo, and you don't care what anyone else thinks," Skye said. "I don't know why I'm having dinner with Daddy," Genevieve said as Skylar came in. "You're having dinner with Daddy? That's great," Skylar said. "Skylar, don't make a big deal out of it. It's just dinner. I wish it was with Alexander instead," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, please just try," Skylar said. "Your sister is right," Skye said. "Mother, how are you doing?" Skylar asked. "I'm trying—work helps, and all my children being here. I'm going to pick up your sister from the airport," Skye said. "Great, Lila Rae is coming home," Genevieve said. "Genevieve," Skye said. "Anyway, Skylar, let's go get some coffee," Genevieve said. "Sure," Skylar replied. "Be safe," Skye said. "We will, Mother," Skylar said. "Genevieve, just listen to your father and keep an open mind," Skye advised. "Yes, Mother. But I'm not like Daddy," Genevieve said. Skylar and Skye shared a look as the girls left. Skye went to her desk and picked up a picture of Genevieve. "Oh, you are just like your father and me, baby girl," Skye said.
At The Metro, co-Carly was at the desk when Zack approached. "I looked at the books. Carly, I'm sorry, but after reviewing the numbers, I can't help you with this hotel," Zack said. "You're backing out of the deal?" Carly asked. "We haven't signed anything yet. There is some money missing that isn't accounted for," Zack said as Alexis approached. "Carly, what did you do?" Alexis asked. "Look, it's been hard being a single mother, and I need some money, so I borrowed from my hotel," Carly explained. "So, you embezzled from your own hotel? You could go to jail for this," Alexis said. Josslyn then approached. "Who is going to jail?" Josslyn asked. "No one is going to jail. Zack, thank you for trying, but I will find another way," Carly said. "You're welcome. Good luck," Zack said and left. "Alexis, can we talk later?" Carly asked. "Fine, for Jax," Alexis replied and left. "Mother, what is going on?" Josslyn asked. "I love you and your brothers, and I want to give you the best life. It's been hard doing it on my own, so I embezzled from the hotel," Carly admitted. "Oh no, Mother. You could go to jail," Josslyn said. "No, I won't. Let's go pick up your brother," Carly said and left.
