Finding You, Part 8, Chapter 27 — At the Quartermaine Hotel — Skye was there waiting for Lorenzo to arrive, feeling worried about how he would handle her news when he came. "Skye," Lorenzo said. "Thanks for meeting me," Skye replied. "You're welcome. How did the service go?" Lorenzo asked. "Alright," Skye said as the waitress approached. "I just want some more tea," Skye said. "I will have a Scott," Lorenzo replied as the waitress left. "So, are they pressing charges against Kristin?" Lorenzo asked. "No, the case is closed," Skye said. "Really, and you're okay with that?" Lorenzo asked. As the waitress returned with their drinks and left, Skye responded, "Yes, my sister was a forgiving person." "Yes, but still, it's not like you to just give up," Lorenzo said. "Leave it alone, Lorenzo," Skye replied. "Fine. So, what did you want to talk about?" Lorenzo asked. "Lorenzo, I want a legal separation. I had my lawyers draw up the papers. I don't know if I want a divorce, but right now, this is what I need," Skye explained, handing Lorenzo the papers. "Do you have a pen?" Lorenzo asked. "You're not going to fight this?" Skye asked. "No, I know deep down you'll come back to me. You love me, but if this is what you need, I will give it to you," Lorenzo said. "Oh, Lorenzo," Skye responded. "I hate that I hurt you and our family. It kills me," Lorenzo admitted. "I know it does," Skye said. "I do hope you'll come back to me," Lorenzo added. "Make sure a lawyer looks at it first," Skye advised. "I trust you, Skye," Lorenzo said. Skye handed him a pen, and he signed the papers. "Skye, I do hope you'll come to the opening tonight," Lorenzo said. "Can I bring a date?" Skye asked. "I do hate that you're with Ric now, but I respect it," Lorenzo responded. "So, you're not going to do anything?" Skye asked. "Do you want me to?" Lorenzo replied. "No," Skye said, hoping Lorenzo would fight for her. Lorenzo got up, kissed Skye on the cheek, and left. Skye cried as AJ approached.
"Skye," AJ asked. "Sorry," Skye said, wiping her face. "What did Lorenzo do to you?" AJ asked. "No, it's not that. I was hoping Lorenzo would fight for me, for us, but he's not. Lorenzo signed the papers," Skye explained. "So, you want Lorenzo to fight for you? Prove you're worth his love?" AJ asked. "Yes, I do," Skye replied. "You need to tell him. How will Lorenzo know all this if you don't tell him?" AJ pressed. "I guess. Do you think I should take him back?" Skye asked. "I will support you no matter what, you know that," AJ assured her. "Thanks," Skye said.
At Carly's house — Carly showed Alexis the papers Skye gave her about the hotel. "I'm sorry, but legally, there's nothing I can do about Skye stealing your hotel. She did it all by the book and following the law," Alexis explained. "Great. Now, what am I going to do? I will make Skye pay for this," Carly said. "You have no one to blame but yourself. You embezzled money from the hotel Jax loved," Alexis responded. "Since when are you and Skye close?" Carly asked. "Since we share someone we both loved. Anastasia brought us closer," Alexis said. "I'm sorry about your loss," Carly said. "Thanks, I will go," Alexis said and left.
At Constanza's — Constanza was having tea with someone. "I'm glad you're in town," Constanza said. "Me too, and I'm ready for tonight," the woman responded. "I know you'll be a hit," Constanza said. "I hope so. This is my new start," the woman said. There was a knock on the door. Constanza went to open it — it was Genevieve. "Constanza, I need to talk to you," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, I would love to, but I'm busy. Why don't we talk later at your father's club opening?" Constanza responded. "Sure, I'll go to that. It's like Daddy isn't going to change," Genevieve said. "Genevieve, please," Constanza pleaded. "I guess no one is happy that I'm back for a visit. Between you and Alexander, you're too busy for me," Genevieve said as she left. "Wow, who is she?" the woman asked as she approached. "Skye's daughter," Constanza replied. "I sure do," the woman said. "Genevieve can be hard, but she is a good person," Constanza noted. "I really do," the woman said. "I will see you tonight," she added. "Yes," Constanza replied.
