Finding You Part 8, Chapter 10 —
At Skye's House — Skye and Anastasia were having tea together. "Anastasia, how are you doing? I know it's been hard," Skye said. "Finding out how I was conceived was hard, but I'm handling it," Anastasia replied. "Good, if you want to talk to me, you know you can," Skye added. "I know," Anastasia responded. "So, do you have dinner plans?" Skye asked. "Yes, I'm taking Molly and Kristina out to dinner," Anastasia answered. "Nice," Skye said, just as the doorbell rang— it was Kristin. "What do you want?" Skye asked. "I need to go out of town for a while. I just want to say goodbye to both of you," Kristin said. "Will you be back?" Anastasia asked. "Yes, I will. I love both of you girls. You know that, right?" Kristin asked. "Yes, we do," Anastasia said. "Yes," Skye agreed. "I will be back soon," Kristin said. "Good, I need to get ready for dinner," Anastasia said and went upstairs. "What are you up to? I know you," Skye questioned. "You always knew when I was lying. It's been too hard here. I'm leaving town and never coming back," Kristin declared. "Did you talk to Alexis?" Skye asked. "No, I left her a note," Kristin replied. "You're nothing but a coward," Skye said. "I know," Kristin admitted. "We are all better off without you, even Alexis," Skye remarked. "I know," Kristin said and left as Anastasia returned. "Skye, did you start a fight with Mama?" Anastasia asked. "No, but I'm glad she's gone," Skye replied. "She's trying to change," Anastasia said. "Yes, but we don't need her," Skye answered, touching her sister's hair. Just then, the doorbell rang—it was Ric. "Why are you here?" Skye asked. "I thought we could go out to dinner," Ric offered. "Ric," Skye protested. "Skye, go. I'm going out. Have fun," Anastasia said. "Yes, have fun, Skye," Ric added. "Fine," Skye said. They all left.
