Finding You, Part 8, Chapter 12—
At General Hospital, Alexis's Room—Alexis was awake when Skye entered. Alexis simply looked at her, sensing something was wrong. "No!" Alexis yelled and cried, and Skye pulled her into her arms. "Yes, Anastasia is dead," Skye said. "No! This is all my fault. Skye, I hit her car. I didn't see the other vehicle. I was so upset about Kristin leaving," Alexis said. "I know, Kristin is going to make it. While Anastasia—the best in all of us—is dead, it's time to make her pay," Skye said. "Skye, it's my fault," Alexis admitted. "Why were you upset?" Skye asked. "Because she was leaving me again, not face to face. She could tell me with a note," Alexis explained. "I know. I have an idea, Alexis. You're the DA. If you want to keep your job, which I know you do, have Kristin go to jail for this," Skye suggested. "Skye, I'm sure Ric will find out it was me, and Kristin will confess," Alexis replied. "No, she won't," Skye disagreed. "I want her to pay, and I hate myself for killing my own daughter," Alexis said. "I know. Anastasia loved you," Skye said. "She was a great woman and doctor," Alexis added. "Yes, she was," Skye agreed. "Can I trust you, Skye?" Alexis asked. "We both have two things in common: We both loved Anastasia and hate her," Skye replied. "Yes, we do," Alexis said. "For this, you can trust me," Skye assured her. "Alright, let's do this. I want to say goodbye to my daughter," Alexis said. "We can go together," Skye offered.
