Finding You Part 8 Ch 54 ~ At Skye/Lorenzo ~ Lorenzo was on the phone. "Have the jet ready," Lorenzo said and hung up as Skye entered. "Do you think Genevieve will be okay with this? You know she hates surprises," Skye said. "I know, but Rae is right; we need to fix things with our daughter," Lorenzo replied. "It's a good sign that she wants you to come," Skye added. "Yes, I know," Lorenzo said as Skylar, Lila Rae, and Luis Jr. came in. "So, what's your news?" Skylar asked. "We're leaving today—to surprise Genevieve," Skye answered. "You know Genevieve hates surprises, and she's studying this week. I tried calling her, but she didn't pick up," Skylar said. "I know, but after Mother was sick, I realize life is short," Skye responded. "Who's going to take care of Grandmother?" Lila Rae asked. "Her boyfriend, John," Skye said. "Oh, well, if you really want to do this," Lila Rae replied. "We do," Lorenzo confirmed. "Alright, I hope it goes well. You know how Genevieve gets when she's studying—stressed out and eating junk food," Skylar said. "Genevieve always eats junk food," Skye agreed. "Yeah," Skylar said. "I have news, Morgan and I bought a new house—the lake house. It's going to be our summer home," Lila Rae shared. "Really?" Skye asked. "Yes. Mother, are you okay? I just want a house on the lake," Lila Rae said. "Yes, I'm fine with it," Skye responded. "Yes, we are," Lorenzo added. "When do you leave?" Luis Jr. asked. "Tonight. Son, I want you to take care of the club," Lorenzo said. "I will, Father," Luis Jr. replied. "I know you'll do a good job with it," Lorenzo said. "We should go," Skye said. "Yes," Lorenzo agreed. "I hope it works out for all of you," Skylar said. "Thanks," Skye replied. They left.
At General Hospital—Rae's room—Rae was talking to John. "Are you sure about taking care of me?" Rae asked. "Yes, I am. We waste too much time together," John replied. "Yes, we have," Rae said, and they shared a kiss.
At L&B—Ned was working when Blair entered. "Ned, you want to see me?" Blair asked. "Yes, I've heard you sing at Lorenzo's club. I want to sign you to my label. You can still sing at Lorenzo's club," Ned said. "Oh my god, I've wanted this for so long. Yes," Blair exclaimed. "Great," Ned said, and they shook hands. At Carly's house—Carly was home, looking at the help wanted ads when there was a knock on the door. Carly went to open it; it was Todd. "What do you want?" Carly asked. "I'm here to help you find a job," Todd said. "How can you help me find a job?" Carly asked. "What if we make a hotel here and make it even better than the one AJ and Skye stole from you?" Todd proposed. "You have a deal," Carly agreed. They shook hands.
