Finding You, Part 8, Epilogue, Chapter 2 — At Skylar and Carman's wedding — Carman was on the beach near the gazebo waiting for Skylar. Lila Rae came down first, then Genevieve, and finally Skylar arrived on her horse as everyone watched. Carmen helped Skylar off the horse. "Today, we are here to watch Skylar and Carman make their vows, which they have written themselves," the officiant said. "Skylar, I love you. You're kind and caring. You care so much about others and animals, and you're great at heart. Love you no matter what, and we will get through anything," Carman said. "Carman, I love you too. Last summer, I thought you would leave me because of what happened to me, but I'm glad you didn't. We will be happy. We may not have children, but that's not what makes a marriage—love does, and I love you," Skylar said, as Genevieve looked at Alexander, who was sitting down. "Do you take Skylar to be your wife?" the officiant asked. "Yes, I do," Carman replied. "Do you take Carman to be your husband?" the officiant asked. "Yes, I do," Skylar answered. "Skylar and Carman want to release doves in honor of those who can't be here," the officiant said. Skylar and Carman released the doves as Skylar, sitting by Lorenzo, cried. "Skye," Lorenzo said. "It's just a beautiful wedding," Skylar replied. "Yes, it is. It's Skylar all the way," Lorenzo said. "Yes. Now we just have two children who aren't married yet," Skylar noted. "I have a feeling Genevieve will never marry Alexander, no matter how much she loves him," Lorenzo said. "Maybe. We need to find someone better for Luis than Josslyn," Skylar said. "Yes?" Lorenzo responded. Skylar and Carman shared their first dance as husband and wife. "This was a beautiful wedding," Skylar said. "Yes, it was," Carman agreed. "So, Genevieve, are you and Alexander next?" Lila Rae asked. "No, we are not," Genevieve replied. "If you keep playing games, you're going to lose Alexander," Lila Rae said. "No, I'm not. I know he loves me. I'm not worried," Genevieve responded. "So I guess we are family," Elizabeth said. "Yes, we are," Skylar answered. "So, you broke up with Ric?" Elizabeth asked. "Yes, I love Lorenzo. Ric loves you," Skylar said. "Skye," Elizabeth called. "What he does, go to him," Skylar said as Lorenzo approached. "Let's dance," Lorenzo said. Skylar and Lorenzo danced. "I'm so glad you came back to me," Lorenzo said. "I will never leave again," Skylar promised. "You better not; I was lost without you," Lorenzo said. They shared a kiss. Carman and Skylar shared their first dance. "I love you, Carman," Skylar said. "I love you too," Carman replied, and they shared a kiss. "I want to make a toast to my daughter and her husband, Carman. I hope you both are happy, and I wish you nothing but the best," Lorenzo said. "Thanks, Daddy," Skylar said. "You're welcome. This wedding was all you. It was beautiful and free," Lorenzo said. "Thank you," Skylar responded. "You better not hurt my sister," Genevieve warned. "I will not," Carman promised. "So, when are you going to tell your family you're pregnant?" Morgan asked. "We will tomorrow. Let Skylar have her day," Lila Rae replied. "Yes," Morgan agreed. "It was a beautiful wedding," Josslyn said. "Yes, it was. I'm glad you're here with me," Luis Jr. said.
