Finding You Part 8, Chapter 25~At St. Ann~Anastasia's Funeral~Skye was there lighting a candle when Alexis came by. "Today is going to be so hard, I don't want to say goodbye," Skye said. "Me either, but we will get through this somehow," Alexis replied. "I'm glad you both found each other," Skye said. "I'm glad she had you in her life," Alexis responded. They shared a hug as AJ, Michael, Monica, Alan, Rae, Skylar, Lila Rae, Luis, Genevieve, Kristina, Molly, and Ned entered. "Thanks for coming," Skye said. "You're welcome. I want to help you get through this," Rae replied. "Thanks, Mother," Skye said as Kristin entered. "Why are you here? You're the one who did this," Kristina said. "Kristina, it's okay. Skye and I have let it go. It was an accident, and Anastasia would want us to," Alexis added. "Whatever you want, Mother. I will support you," Kristina said. "Thanks, baby," Alexis replied. The father then came in to start the service. "We are here to say goodbye to a sister, daughter, and doctor," he said. Skye stood up. "Anastasia and I grew up together, thinking we were sisters. She would follow me everywhere and look up to me, as I was the better one of us—the best of me and a doctor who was strong and did the right thing in life. I'm glad we were close, even if we weren't sisters. We all need someone in our lives to be close to. I wish my daughters were as close as we were," Skye said, glancing at her daughters, while Genevieve rolled her eyes. Alexis stood up. "I'm grateful that Anastasia and I had the last few months to get to know each other, but I wish we had more. I loved my daughter even when she wasn't with me. I always loved her and never stopped thinking about her. I'm proud to say I had a daughter who was a doctor," Alexis said. Kristin then stood up. "I loved Anastasia. I'm glad I raised her and that she was in my life. I'm sorry for all the hurt I caused her, Alexis, and Skye," she expressed as the service ended. "Skye, Alexis, I'm going to leave town. I think it's for the best," Kristin said. "Well, I'm going to miss you, but I agree," Alexis replied. "Skye, I'm sorry for the past. I..." Kristin started. "I know. I have let it go," Skye said. "Good. You both are great mothers, and I'm glad you're both getting closer. I hope it continues," Kristin said. "Maybe," Skye replied. Kristin hugged Skye and Alexis before leaving.
