Finding You, Part 8, Chapter 44 — Port Charles — Skye and Ric were outside the opera house. "Tonight was wonderful," Skye said. "Thank you, I'm glad you like it. Let's go get some dinner," Ric replied. "Sure," Skye agreed, and they left.
At Elizabeth's house — Carman and Skylar came inside. "So, what is your news?" Elizabeth asked. "We are getting married! I say yes," Skylar exclaimed. "Oh, Skylar, I'm so happy for you and my son. I know you will make each other happy," Elizabeth said. "Thank you, your son makes me happy," Skylar responded. "Good," Elizabeth said as they hugged. "I would love for you to help me with the plans," Skylar requested. "Sure, I would love to," Elizabeth replied. "Thanks, Mother," Carman said. "I'm happy for you," Elizabeth said as she hugged her son. "We sure do," Skylar added. "Bye," Elizabeth said, and they left.
At the Quartermaine Hotel — Skye and Ric were having dinner. "So, you enjoyed the opera?" Ric asked. "Yes, I did. It was great," Skye answered. "Good," Ric said. "Tonight, Carman is going to ask Skylar to marry him. I hope she says yes," Skye expressed. "Carman is a good guy," Ric commented. "Yes, he is," Skye agreed. "Does Lorenzo like him?" Ric inquired. "Not--no one is good enough for our daughters," Skye answered as her phone rang. "It's Genevieve. I need to take it," Skye said. "Sure," Ric nodded. Skye answered the call. "Genevieve, sure, I will come to visit you. Really? That's great," Skye said, and she hung up. "Is everything okay?" Ric asked. "Genevieve is lonely. She wants Lorenzo and me to visit her," Skye explained. "Really?" Ric asked. "Ric, it's for my daughter, that's all," Skye replied. "This is hard to share you with him," Ric said. "I know. It is, and I'm sorry, but I want this," Skye responded. "I know, and I will do my best," Ric assured. "Thank you," Skye said.
At Lorenzo's — Lorenzo was having dinner with Luis JR. "Luis, you can't be mad at your sister. Some of this is my fault," Lorenzo said. "I know, I just hate this," Luis admitted. "I know you're having a hard time with this, but soon your mother and I will be back together," Lorenzo reassured. "Really?" Luis asked. "Yes," Lorenzo confirmed as his phone rang—it was Genevieve. "Genevieve, sure, I would love to come. Thanks for asking me," Lorenzo said, and he hung up. "What is going on?" Luis asked. "Your sister wants me to come see her," Lorenzo explained. "Cool," Luis said. "Yes, it is," Lorenzo agreed.
