At Lorenzo's
That night, Lorenzo was on the phone.
"It's me. You need to come home. Not for me, but for Skye," Lorenzo said and hung up.
At Skye's house, Skye was in her robe, sitting on the couch, looking at a picture of her and Anastasia when they were little. Ric came in and sat down.
"Last night was wonderful," Ric said.
"Yes, it was. Ric, I need you to do something for me," Skye said, taking his hand as they sat together.
"What do you need?" Ric asked.
"Ric, it's not just me. It's Alexis too. There's no bad blood between you, is there?" Skye asked.
"No, we've let it all go. I still care; Alexis is the mother of Molly," Ric replied.
"Good. Alexis is going to need you. It wasn't Kristin who hit Anastasia; it was Alexis. But I want that bitch Kristin to go down," Skye said.
"Skye, do you know what you're asking?" Ric asked.
"Yes. Alexis is involved too. The reason she was upset while driving was that Kristin was going to leave town. Ric, will you help me?" Skye asked.
"Is that why you slept with me?" Ric asked.
"No," Skye replied.
"Alexis is fine with it," Ric asked.
"Yes," Skye said. Ric kissed Skye's hand.
"Alright, I will help you," Ric said.
"Thank you," Skye said.
"You're welcome," Ric replied.
There was a knock at the door.
"I wonder who that is," Skye said, getting up and opening the door. It was Genevieve.
"Genevieve," Skye said.
"Mother, I heard about Anastasia. I'm so sorry," Genevieve said, hugging her.
"I'm glad you're here," Skye said, as Genevieve entered and saw Ric in his robe.
"Yeah. So, mother, you're moving on?" Genevieve asked.
"Yes, I am," Skye said.
"It's good to see you, Genevieve. I'm going to get dressed and leave," Ric said before leaving.
"Good for you, Mother," Genevieve said.
"Thank you. So, who called you?" Skye asked as Lorenzo came in.
"I did. Skye, I'm sorry about Anastasia. If you need anything," Lorenzo said.
"Thank you," Skye replied.
"Mother, I'm going to make you some tea," Genevieve said and left.
"Thank you, Lorenzo, for bringing Genevieve home. Did you pick her up?" Skye asked.
"No, Genevieve drove herself. I'm glad I could help. Do you need anything?" Lorenzo asked.
"Just my sister," Skye said.
"I know, I'm sorry," Lorenzo responded, and they shared a hug.
Genevieve entered with a tray of tea and cookies.
"Mother, I have your tea," Genevieve said.
"Thank you," Skye said.
"Well, I should go. If you need me, Skye, call me," Lorenzo said, kissing her on the cheek before leaving.
Skye closed the door and sat down beside her daughter.
"Thank you for this," Skye said.
"You're welcome. Who hit Anastasia's car?" Genevieve asked.
"Kristin did," Skye replied.
"Wow," Genevieve said.
"I know," Skye agreed.
"I will never forget what Anastasia did for me," Genevieve said.
"Me neither," Skye added.
Another knock sounded; it was Luis and Skylar.
"Mother, we are sorry," Luis Jr. said.
"Yes, we are," Skylar responded.
Skye hugged all her children.
"I'm so glad you're all here," Skye said.
"Yes. Lila Rae will be home later today," Skylar added.
"Yes, I know. I need all my children with me," Skye said.
"Mother, why don't we get some breakfast?" Genevieve asked.
"I'm meeting Alexis at her place to plan the funeral. I'd better get ready," Skye said.
"Alright. What do you need?" Genevieve asked.
"Why don't you all go to the hotel and ask AJ for a private room for Saturday?" Skye suggested.
"Sure. Anything else?" Genevieve asked.
"No, I'm just glad to have my children here. Genevieve, how long are you staying?" Skye asked.
"For the weekend," Genevieve answered.
"Good. I'll get ready," Skye said.
"Alright, we'll go," Skylar said.
"Thank you," Skye responded, and the children left.
At Alexis' house, Alexis was looking at the only picture she had of Anastasia when Nikolas and Stefan entered.
"Alexis," Nikolas said.
Alexis hugged Nikolas.
"I'm sorry about this. If you need anything," Nikolas said.
"Just my baby," Alexis said.
"I know," Nikolas responded.
"I will make sure Kristin pays for this," Alexis vowed.
"Are you sure about that? She's your mother," Nikolas asked.
"Who left me? I'm sure," Alexis said.
"Do you need help with your plans?" Stefan asked.
"Skye is coming over to help me. She loved Anastasia too," Alexis replied.
"Yes, she did. Do you need anything else? You could stay with me. It's too soon for you to be out of the hospital," Nikolas said; Alexis touched Nikolas's face.
"I will be just fine. Thank you," Alexis responded.
"You're welcome; I have to go, but if you need me, call anytime," Nikolas said.
"I will," Alexis replied.
Nikolas left.
"So, Alexis, what are you up to?" Stefan asked.
"Nothing," Alexis replied.
"I know you, Alexis. You're up to something. Talk to me," Stefan urged.
"It was me who hit my little girl," Alexis admitted, breaking into her brother's arms.
