Finding You Part 8, Chapter 49 — At General Hospital, Dr. Kelly's office — Skye came in. "Dr. Kelly, can we talk?" Skye asked. "Sure, what is it?" Dr. Kelly replied. "Rae told me about cancer. Can I lose my mother?" Skye asked. "I believe that Rae will make it," Dr. Kelly said. "I hope you're right. I wish you could promise me that," Skye said. "I know," Dr. Kelly replied. "Is there a test to see if I carry it?" Skye asked. "Yes, there is. It's just a blood test," Dr. Kelly said. "Sure, my girls have it too," Skye asked. "Yes," Dr. Kelly confirmed. "Thank you," Skye said. "You're welcome," Dr. Kelly replied, and she gave Skye the test.
At Lorenzo's club, The Rose, Blair was going over her notes for her new songs when Lorenzo came in. "How is it going, Blair?" Lorenzo asked. "Good. I have to ask, did you give me this job to get to Skye?" Blair inquired. "I didn't want to make Skye jealous, that's all. I know she still loves me," Lorenzo explained. "Did Skye tell you that?" Blair asked. "No, Skye wants to do this thing where she dates both Ric and me for four months, then she will make her choice," Lorenzo said. "You and Skye are alike — both like to play games," Blair commented. "Does Todd like you working here?" Lorenzo inquired. "Not really," Blair admitted. "I'm sorry," Lorenzo said. "It's okay. Todd will just have to get used to it," Blair responded.
At The Quartermaine, Skye entered, looked at the bar, and touched a bottle of wine when Alan came in and pulled her aside. "Don't," Alan said. "I hate this. I can't lose my mother," Skye said. "You will not; it's caught early. I believe Rae will beat this. You can't fall apart, Skye," Alan Pardew told her. Skye turned around. "You're right. This was just a small breakdown, a setback, but I will be fine," Skye said. "Do you want to go to a meeting?" Alan asked. "I will," Skye responded. "Good," Alan said. "Do you believe Rae will make it?" Skye asked. "Yes," Alan confirmed. Skye's phone rang—it was Rae. "Yes, Mother, I will be there," Skye replied, and hung up. "Mother has made her decision," Skye said as they left.
