Finding You, Part 3, Genevieve, Chapter 2
Genevieve's Penthouse — She went into her room still in shock and picked up a picture she had hidden from Victor; it was of Alexander. "Oh, Alexander, I'm sorry," Genevieve said. She then picked up her phone and called her mother.
At Skye/Lorenzo's — "Genevieve, what's wrong? Oh dear, we knew this would come," Skye said and hung up. "What's wrong?" Lorenzo asked. "That was Genevieve. The past came knocking on her door tonight," Skye explained. "I know it was a mistake to give the baby away," Lorenzo said. "It was Genevieve's choice," Skye replied. "I know," Lorenzo responded.
Genevieve — She went into the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea. She couldn't sleep when there was a knock on the door. It was Victor. "Victor, I thought you were going to stay at your place tonight," Genevieve said. Victor put his hands on her hips. "So, tell me, Bianca is your baby that you had with my brother, isn't she?" Victor asked. "Yes," Genevieve replied. "You knew who she was and lied to me," Victor said. "I don't owe you anything. We are just—" Genevieve started. "Just what? Having fun? I asked you to marry me many times, and you turned me down," Victor interrupted. "I told you I'm not going to marry anyone. If you want out, then out. I don't care," Genevieve said. "Do you still love him?" Victor asked. "How dare you ask me that? Of course not!" Genevieve snapped. "I guess it's over," Victor said. "Genevieve, I will send you things to your place," Victor added. "We've been together for ten years, and that's it," Genevieve replied. "Yes, I told you I would not marry anyone," she added. "Yes, I know. God forbid you put anyone before your career," Victor said. "Like you will not. You love that you have the empire now. It's all yours. Everything that was your brother's, now it's yours," Genevieve shot back. Victor kissed her on the forehead and left.
Genevieve tried not to cry and turned around to see Bianca awake. "What are you doing up?" Genevieve asked. "I wanted some water," Bianca said. "Sorry I woke you," Genevieve apologized. "It's okay. Where's your cup?" Bianca asked. "You don't want to drink water from the sink. There's bottled water in the fridge," Genevieve explained. "Thanks. Sorry if I caused trouble with you and Victor," Bianca said. "You didn't. It doesn't mean anything to me," Genevieve reassured her.
