Finding you, Genevieve
At Stateville—Lorenzo's cell—Lorenzo was alone when Skye came by. "Lorenzo, what do you want?" Skye asked. "Thanks for coming. How is Lila Rae?" Lorenzo asked. "Not good," Skye replied. "I wish I was out with our family," Lorenzo said. "Me too," Skye said. "You'll never guess who my cellmate is," Lorenzo said. "Who?" Skye asked. "Julian Jerome. Did you know Alexander worked with him? Our daughter knows and judges you for loving me," Lorenzo said. "Are you sure?" Skye asked. "Yes. Genevieve thought Julian killed Alexander," Lorenzo said. "Wow, Lorenzo, be careful," Skye warned. "I will, but I think it's time we find out who killed Alexander Cassadine," Lorenzo said. "Do you think Genevieve knows who did it?" Skye asked. "I don't know. Remember what happened after Alexander was killed?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes, I do," Skye said.
In General Hospital: Genevieve was sitting on the couch crying when Lorenzo and Skye arrived. "Genevieve," Skye asked.
"Someone poisoned Alexander, and now he's dead," Genevieve replied.
"I'm sorry. I know how much you loved him," Skye said.
"I don't anymore," Genevieve said.
"Do you know who did this?" Lorenzo asked.
Genevieve wiped her tears and stood up. "No. Was it you, Daddy? Did you do this?" she asked.
"I know you're angry and hurt right now, but I had nothing to gain from killing Alexander," Lorenzo said.
Victor arrived. "But Victor did have something to gain," Lorenzo added.
"What? I didn't kill my brother!" Victor yelled.
"I know you didn't, Victor. It doesn't matter what he thinks," Genevieve said.
"No, it does. I would not kill Alexander," Victor insisted.
"I know. Let's go home," Genevieve said.
"Genevieve," Skye called.
"Mother, I'll be fine," Genevieve answered and left with Victor.
"That was the only time Genevieve cried over Alexander's death, not even at his funeral," Skye remarked.
"Yes. We need to look into this," Lorenzo agreed.
"I will, but later. I need to be there for Lila Rae," Skye said.
"Yes," Lorenzo replied.
"I love you, Lorenzo. Stay safe," Skye said.
"I will," Lorenzo responded, and Skye left.
At Genevieve's house—Genevieve was in her closet, finding a box of Alexander's belongings. She pulled it out and looked at his stuff: his yearbook, an old iPhone, and a picture of them together.
"Oh, Alexander, I loved you," Genevieve whispered. She set the items on the table as the doorbell rang—it was Skye.
"Mother, why are you here again?" Genevieve asked.
"I brought you and Bianca some lunch from downstairs," Skye said.
"Oh, thanks. Bianca is still sleeping," Genevieve said.
"Good. We can talk," Skye replied, noticing Alexander's belongings on the table.
"What is all this?" Skye asked.
"Just some of the old belongings I found," Genevieve explained.
Skye picked up the picture of Genevieve and Alexander.
"Alexander's belongs," Skye said.
"Yes," Genevieve confirmed.
"Do you still love him?" Skye asked.
"No, Mother. I just found the box, looked inside, and I thought I'd give them to Bianca," Genevieve replied.
"Really?" Skye asked.
"Yes. I don't love Alexander," Genevieve said.
"Genevieve, please open up to me," Skye urged.
"How? I'm going to have to tell Bianca about Alexander—the way he was when he came back, like when he kidnapped me," Genevieve said.
"Oh, baby," Skye said.
Flashbacks: Genevieve woke in a bedroom that wasn't hers, alone and scared.
"What happened? Where am I?" Genevieve asked. Alexander came in.
"Alexander, where are we?" Genevieve asked, asking for his help to get out of bed.
"We're at Cassadine Island. Remember? You want to go there," Alexander replied.
"Yes," Genevieve said.
"Today is also our wedding day," Alexander said.
"Wedding day? How did I get here?" Genevieve asked.
"I brought you here. Get ready for our wedding. I'll send a maid to help," he said.
"Alexander," Genevieve called.
"Don't fight this, goddess," Alexander said and left, with Genevieve following.
"Alexander, I'm not marrying you! I don't love you anymore. I love Victor!" Genevieve protested.
"No, you don't love Victor. He's not the right man for you!" Alexander yelled.
"No, Alexander! You can't make me!" Genevieve shouted.
"Yes, I will!" Alexander yelled as two men seized her arms.
"Let me go!" Genevieve yelled.
"Take her to the ice room," Alexander ordered.
"Ice room?" Genevieve asked.
They led her into the room with the ice princess.
"What is this?" Genevieve asked.
"It's just a machine. It will cool you down," Alexander explained, grabbing her.
"No, Alexander, please," Genevieve begged.
"Just let go and let me take care of you," Alexander whispered, laying her on the ice and freezing her.
"Just rest," he said, kissing her cheek before leaving.
At Genevieve's house—Genevieve was looking out the window when Skye was still there.
"How do I tell Bianca about the ice? Alexander wants to keep me on the ice until I fall in love with him again," Genevieve said.
"What ice?" Bianca asked, entering.
"Oh, Bianca," Skye said.
"Genevieve, please tell me. I heard you talking about my father," Bianca pressed.
"Are you sure you want to know?" Genevieve asked.
"Yes," Bianca replied.
