Finding You, Genevieve, Chapter 39
Genevieve was in her office, looking at the bracelet on her wrist. She touched it, thinking of Alexander. Flashback: "Happy Birthday, Genevieve. I hope you like it," Alexander said. Genevieve opened it and saw the bracelet. "Oh, it's beautiful. Thank you. I've never had a bracelet like this before. I love it," Genevieve said as Lorenzo and Skye walked by. "Daddy, Mother, did you see what Alexander gave me?" Genevieve asked. "A diamond bracelet? You're too young for it," Lorenzo replied. "I'm keeping it," Genevieve insisted. "Genevieve," Lorenzo said. "Lorenzo, thank you. Alexander, that's sweet of you," Skye said. "You're welcome. Genevieve, would you like to go for a walk?" Alexander asked. "Sure," Genevieve replied. This marked the end of the flashback.

"Genevieve, I've been calling your name," Victor said. "I'm sorry. I was just thinking," Genevieve admitted. "It's okay. I thought you might want to talk," Victor said. "Why don't we go get a drink?" Genevieve asked. "Sure," Victor agreed. They left.

At Skye's new house—Skye was unpacking her belongings when Lila Rae entered. "Lila Rae, how are you doing?" Skye asked. "I hate all this," Lila Rae said. "Me too. I'm scared of what's going to happen next," Skye replied. "You're worried Daddy and Luis will be killed in jail, aren't you?" Lila Rae asked. "Yes, I am," Skye said. "I wish this never happened," Lila Rae whispered. "Me too. How are things between you and Morgan?" Skye asked. "Not good. I told Morgan I need some time, so I'm staying at the hotel for now," Lila Rae explained. "You didn't know he was going to testify against your father and brother?" Skye questioned. "No. Morgan thinks Genevieve will support him, but I have a feeling she wants him next. Then she can go after her dream job and become the town's prosecutor," Lila Rae said. "Yes, I guess that's important to her," Skye replied. "Yes. Raelyn wants to be a lawyer just like her aunt," Lila Rae added. "How do you feel about that?" Skye asked. "I don't like it, but I can't stop her," Lila Rae said. "No, you can't," Skye agreed. "Mother, you will get through this. I will be there for you, and you have the fundraiser to plan," Lila Rae reassured. "Yes, I do, and I will get through this," Skye affirmed.

At the Quartermaine Hotel—In the dining room, Genevieve entered, carrying Victor in her arms. "Ms. Quartermaine, Mr. Cassadine, would you like a seat at the bar or a table?" the waiter asked. "Table, please," Victor replied. Victor and Genevieve went to their table. "I'd like a glass of your best champagne, please. I'm celebrating," Genevieve ordered. "Oh, what for?" the waitress inquired. "I won a big case," Genevieve answered, and the waitress left. "Genevieve, are you sure you want to celebrate this?" Victor asked. "Yes, I won. Soon, I will get Morgan, and then I will be the town's prosecutor—my dream job," Genevieve said. "Yes, but it cost you," Victor noted. The waitress returned with the champagne. "I will pour it," Victor offered, and he did so. "Victor, you and Bianca are all I need. You both are my family," Genevieve said, touching Victor's face. "Where did you get that bracelet?" Victor asked. "Oh, Victor, don't be jealous. It's nothing," Genevieve replied. "I know where that bracelet is from," Victor said. "Yes, it's from him. It's nothing, just matches this dress," Genevieve explained. "Really? I don't believe you," Victor responded. "Victor, we've never had trust issues, so don't start now," Genevieve insisted as Skylar approached them. "Skylar," Genevieve greeted. "Yesterday, I was angry with you for what you did. I didn't want to relive that pain," Skylar said. "I didn't want to do that to you, but I had to. I love you. You're my twin. Today, when I told Mother I wished I was adopted—that was a lie. I'm glad you're my twin," Genevieve confessed. "I'm glad you're my twin, too, and that Daddy is behind bars. I just don't want Daddy or Luis to die," Skylar said. "I don't want that either," Genevieve replied. "I still love you," Skylar added. Genevieve stood up and hugged her sister. "Do you want to join us?" Genevieve asked. "No, thanks," Skylar replied and left. "So, you got your sister back?" Victor asked. "I knew Skylar would come back to me. She is very forgiving; she must get that from my grandmother," Genevieve said. "Yes," Victor agreed. "I want more champagne," Genevieve requested. "Don't overdo it," Victor advised. "Why not?" Genevieve asked as Skye entered. "Genevieve, your mother just walked in," Victor announced. "I can handle it," Genevieve said.
