Finding You, Genevieve
At Genevieve's place—Genevieve was sitting on the couch while Victor was pouring them a drink. "Why were you even thinking about him?" Victor asked. "My mother brought up Alexander, Julian Jerome is Lorenzo's cellmate, and Mother was asking me if Julian killed Alexander," Genevieve said. "Did he? I don't think Julian knew Alexander," Victor asked. Victor sat down beside Genevieve and handed her a glass of wine. "Ginny, did they know each other?" Victor asked. "I don't have any proof, but I think they did business together. I remember once Alexander told me he would do anything to save the empire that was in trouble," Genevieve replied. "Yes, it was in trouble. I lost a deal that cost us a lot of money," Victor said. "Victor, I know it wasn't you who killed Alexander," Genevieve said. "Thank you, but I have to ask—do you still care for him even after you almost died?" Victor asked. "But I didn't. I made it out fine," Genevieve said as Bianca entered. "I just came out for some water," Bianca said. "You need to hear the rest of the story," Genevieve said. "Yes, you do," Victor added.
Flashbacks—After flying to Port Charles General Hospital, Skye, Lorenzo, Luis Jr., and Victor arrived with Genevieve, who was lying on a stretcher covered in blankets. "What happened?" Alan asked. "We found Genevieve frozen. Alexander tried to freeze her to death," Skye said. "Please save my baby," Skye pleaded. "We will," Alan assured her as he worked on Genevieve. "Our daughter will make it," Lorenzo said. "Yes, she will. And Alexander is going down for this," Victor said. "Yes, he is," Luis Jr. agreed.
Genevieve's house—"I did make it out," Genevieve said. "Yes, you did. But after that, you weren't the same," Victor replied. "Well, someone froze you to death, does that!" Genevieve yelled. "I know, but you still haven't let him go! You still love him," Victor shouted. "No, I don't," Genevieve said as she poured herself some water. "I'm going to get some air," Bianca said. "I'm sorry," Genevieve said as Bianca left. "I don't love him anymore, Victor. Please believe me," Genevieve pleaded. "I want to, but I can't. I'm going to stay at my place," Victor said. "Fine, go," Genevieve replied, turning away and looking out the window. "Why?" Nikolas asked. "It may not be. I have a question for you about Alexander," Bianca said. "Go ahead," Nikolas replied. "Was it true that Alexander tried to freeze Genevieve?" Bianca asked. "I was hoping she wouldn't tell you that yet. But yes, my son did that. I don't know why Alexander put her on ice and killed our little girl," Skye said. "How did Bianca take it?" Lorenzo asked. "I don't know. I think it was a shock to her," Skye replied. "What about Genevieve?" Lorenzo asked. "She didn't want to relive it. She still loves Alexander, I can tell," Skye said. "I'm glad we saved her from Alexander," Lorenzo said. "Me too. That time, we were great parents," Skye replied. "We are great parents," Lorenzo agreed. "I'll see you later. Just be careful," Skye said. "I will," Lorenzo promised.
At Nikolas and Emily's—Nikolas was alone when Bianca entered. "Bianca, it's good to see you," Nikolas said. "It may not be. I have a question for you about Alexander," Bianca said. "Go ahead," Nikolas replied. "Was it true that Alexander tried to freeze Genevieve?" Bianca asked. "I was hoping she wouldn't tell you that yet. But yes, my son did that. I don't know why Alexander came back different, but he did," Nikolas said. "Do you think the reason Alexander changed was because Genevieve gave me away?" Bianca asked. "I know he was upset about that, but no. I don't know what my son did when he was gone or where he went, but it changed him," Nikolas answered. "I hope I'm not that dark," Bianca said. "Me too. Would you like to stay here?" Nikolas asked. "Yes, thank you. I will call Genevieve and tell her," Bianca replied. "Alright," Nikolas nodded.
Genevieve—Genevieve was in bed, having just hung up with Bianca. She opened her nightstand drawer and took out a picture of her and Alexander. "Oh, Alexander, where did it all go wrong? Why did you come back so different?" she asked, pressing the photo to her heart before falling asleep.
At Victor's—Victor was drinking and thinking about a secret he was hiding, then he smiled. "I know what happened to you," Victor said with a smile.
