Finding You, Genevieve, Chapter 69
At the land by The Quartermaine—Genevieve was there talking to the architect when Victor arrived. "Victor, this is Sam," Genevieve said. "Nice to meet you. Are you done here?" Victor asked. "Yes, we have everything we need," the architect replied and left. "Victor, how did it go?" Genevieve inquired. "Not that great. Genevieve, let's get ready for your brother's restaurant opening," Victor said. "Sure," Genevieve replied, and they left.
At Stateville—Lorenzo and Julian's cell—Ric visited. "What do you want?" Ric asked. "We want a deal. I have proof of who killed Alexander Cassadine, and we'll share it if we both get out of here," Julian said. "Really? You have proof who poisoned Alexander?" Ric asked. "Yes, right here. It's Victor Cassadine," Julian said. "Victor, poisoning his brother? Why?" Ric asked. "To ensure he keeps my daughter," Lorenzo explained. "How am I supposed to believe this?" Ric questioned. "You just have to," Julian replied, just as the mayor approached. "Sir, don't worry. I'm dealing with it," Ric assured him.
At Luis' restaurant—Skye, Lila Rae, Skylar, Genevieve, Victor, Bianca, Alan, Monica, Nikolas, Emily, Josslyn, and Luis were present. "Luis, I'm so proud of you," Skye said. "Thanks, Mother. I think this is a good thing," Luis responded. "Yes, tonight is a new start for all of us," Skye added. "Yes," Luis agreed. "I have news—Victor and I are building a house right by the Quartermaine mansion," Genevieve shared. "That's great," Skylar said. "Mother?" Genevieve asked. "I'm happy for you both," Skye said. "Thank you. Bianca, we're going to build you a guesthouse," Genevieve announced. "Thanks," Bianca replied. Luis stood up. "I just want to thank everyone for joining me here on my new beginning. Welcome to "New Beginnings,'" Luis said. Everyone clapped.
Skye went to the bar to order sparkling water when a man approached. "Nice place," he said. "Yes, it is," Skye replied. "Let me pay for your drink," he offered. "No, it's okay. I can buy my own," Skye declined. "I'm sure you can," he said as Skye turned around. "No, Jax, it's you," Skye exclaimed, touching his face. "Yes, Skye. It's a long story, but I'm alive," Jax said. "Oh, Jax, I hate myself for what happened to you," Skye admitted. "It's not your fault. Can we go somewhere and talk?" Jax asked. "Yes," Skye agreed, and they left.
Victor and Genevieve were sharing a kiss when Ric and a cop approached. "Genevieve, I'm sorry, but I have to do this," Ric said. "What?" Genevieve asked. "I have to arrest Victor Cassadine for the murder of Alexander Cassadine," Ric proclaimed. "What! No, Victor didn't kill Alexander. I want to prove it," Genevieve insisted. "It's all here," Ric said, handing her the file. "Who gave you this?" Genevieve questioned. "Genevieve, don't believe Ric," Victor urged. "Julian and your father. We made a deal," Ric explained. Nikolas and Emily walked over. "Son," Nikolas said. "I didn't do this," Victor claimed. "I'll get a lawyer for you," Nikolas promised. "Genevieve, don't believe any of this," Victor warned as he was taken into custody.
At Skye's house—Skye and Jax shared a kiss. "Skye, I know we have a lot to talk about, but I love you. I came back to be with you and Josslyn," Jax said. "Oh, Jax, things are a mess right now with Lorenzo. I just divorced him, and it's been so long since I've been with a man. I need you," Skye admitted. "It's been a long time for me, too," Jax replied, and they made love on the bed as a man upstairs walked to Skye's room and saw them.
"Get your hands off my wife!" Lorenzo yelled. "Lorenzo, you're out of jail?" Skye asked. "Yes. Who are you making love to?" Lorenzo inquired as Jax got up. "Jax, you're back," Lorenzo said. "Yes, I am," Jax replied.
