Finding you, Genevieve, Chapter 6
At Skye's house with Lorenzo—Skye was gazing out the window, lost in thought, when Alan entered. "Skye, are you okay?" Alan asked. "No, I'm not today. I met the baby Genevieve gave up her, and her name is Bianca. She looks so much like my baby," Skye replied. "How is Genevieve handling all this?" Alan inquired. "You know my daughter; she doesn't do feelings. I think it hurt me more when Genevieve gave up the baby than it did her," Skye said. "I know you don't want to hear this, but Genevieve reminds me of Tracy. She hides her feelings so she won't get hurt," Alan responded. "Yes, I get that. I just want to hug Bianca and tell her to stay in town," Skye said. "But you can't," Alan replied. "It was strange meeting her today. I don't know what to say," Skye admitted. "Yes, I'm sure. Just give it time," Alan counseled. "I will try. I just wish Genevieve would open up more. She broke up with Victor and acts like she's fine, but she loves him," Skye expressed. "Maybe Genevieve still loves Alexander," Alan suggested. "Maybe," Skye agreed.
At Genevieve's office—She entered, looked at her laptop, and pulled out a drawer with a picture of her and Alexander. "Oh, Alexander, our little girl is in town. What do I tell her about you?" Genevieve wondered, pulling herself together.
At Genevieve's penthouse—Bianca entered, looked around, and heard a voice. "Who are you?" Bianca asked. "I'm the maid. You must be Bianca. Ms. Alcazar told me about you," the maid replied. "Oh, I'm sorry. She didn't tell me," Bianca said. "It's okay. I was just putting the food away and arranging some flowers that Ms. Alcazar loves," the maid said. She placed gardenias in a vase. "Ms. Alcazar loves gardenias," Bianca asked. "Yes, she does. She likes them in every room," the maid confirmed. Bianca couldn't believe it—she loved those flowers too. She took a vase to her room and walked by a door. She opened it and saw a room full of toys. Bianca was so shocked that she left the room.
