Finding you, Genevieve, Chapter 49
At General Hospital~ Bianca's room~ Nikolas entered. "Bianca, I'm glad you're alright," Nikolas said. "Thank you, I'm glad too," Bianca replied. "I will make sure you never get hurt again. You're a Cassadine, and I will keep you safe," Nikolas assured her. "It's not your fault," Bianca said. "I know, but we take care of our own. I was wondering if, after you get out, you want to move in with me," Nikolas asked. "Are you sure you and Emily want me around?" Bianca inquired. "Yes, you're my granddaughter," Nikolas responded. "Let me think about it," Bianca said. "Sure," Nikolas agreed. Bianca was hesitant. "I'll let you get some rest," Nikolas said. "Alright," Bianca replied. Nikolas left.
At Genevieve's office~ Genevieve was sitting at her desk reading a file and drinking from a coffee mug when Alexis entered. "Sorry," Genevieve apologized. "It's okay. I take it you're upset," Alexis noted. "Yes, I am," Genevieve confirmed. "Do you want to talk?" Alexis asked. "It's not about Lorenzo; it's about Victor," Genevieve explained. "What happened between you two? I hope you didn't break up—I think you're a great couple," Alexis said. "I think so too, but now it may be over. Victor wants us to move in together," Genevieve said. "You don't want to?" Alexis asked. "No, why ruin a good thing? Victor comes to my place or I go to his. I know next he'll push for marriage and a child, and I can't give him that. I don't want a child right now in my life. I love Bianca, but I just can't do the mother thing," Genevieve explained. "I get that you're scared. I don't think Victor will push about marriage and children anymore. I think my nephew loves you and just wants to be with you. I saw him in court, watching your trial," Alexis added. "Yes, he was. I love Victor too, but I just don't want anything to change," Genevieve admitted. "I get that. But do you really want to be alone for the rest of your life? It can get pretty lonely," Alexis said. "No, I don't want that," Genevieve replied. "Anyway, why are you here?" she asked. "We need to arrest Morgan," Alexis replied. "I have everything set; he should be arrested today," Genevieve said. "Good," Alexis responded. "Yes, Morgan will be charged with racketeering," Genevieve confirmed.
At Morgan's "Party Store"~ Morgan was working when the police entered. "Mr. Corinthos, you are under arrest for racketeering," a cop announced. "What? You have no proof," Morgan protested. "Oh yes, we do," the cop replied as Carly entered. "What's going on?" Carly asked. "We're arresting your son for racketeering," the cop stated. "You don't have any proof," Carly argued. Genevieve then arrived. "Genevieve," Morgan called out. "I have proof you've been away for a long time," Genevieve said. "You said you would protect me," Morgan accused. "You believe that? You're going down. I took down Lorenzo, and now you," Genevieve declared. "How could you arrest your father?" Carly asked. "It's called doing the right thing—something you've never done in your life," Genevieve replied. She then left with Morgan and the police.
