Finding You, Genevieve, Chapter 5
At the Port Charles Hotel, Skye and Lorenzo arrived with Bianca and Genevieve. "So your family owns this hotel, Skye?" Bianca asked. "Yes, we do. We lost it once and had to rebuild. There's another hotel across the street called the Metro Co, but ours is better," Skye replied. "Yes, it is," Lorenzo added as they sat down. "So, Bianca, how are you enjoying your stay?" Skye asked. "I just got in last night, so I haven't seen the town yet," Bianca said. "Oh," Skye responded as Skylar, Lila, and LJ entered. "Great," Genevieve said. "What?" Bianca asked. "I asked our other children to come and meet us here," Skye explained. "Oh," Bianca said. "I'm Lila Rae Corinthos," she introduced herself. "Nice to meet you, I'm Bianca Griffin," she responded. "Nice to meet you, I'm Genevieve, my older sister," Genevieve said. "Bianca, this is my twin sister, Skylar," Genevieve added. "You look alike," Bianca noted. "Yes, we are somewhat alike," Skylar said. "And this is my brother, Luis Jr. I'm sorry about this," Genevieve apologized. "It's okay," Bianca replied as Victor entered. "Genevieve, why don't you ask Victor to come and join us?" Skye suggested. "No, mother, it's fine. We broke up," Genevieve said. "I'm sorry," Skye said. "Don't be. I will be right back," Genevieve responded and left. "Bianca, how are you doing? I know this is a lot to take in. I grew up with a family, and I found out I was adopted, so I understand what you're going through," Skye said. "Thanks. Did you support Genevieve giving me up?" Bianca asked. "Genevieve was old enough to make that decision, and we couldn't stop her, but we did wish she kept you. We would have helped her raise you," Lorenzo responded. "I know Genevieve can be hard to get to know, but she loves you," Skye added, and Lorenzo shot her a look.
Genevieve went over to Victor. "Genevieve, what is it?" Victor asked. "Do you want to get your things? You can get them anytime. I will be at the office later," Genevieve said. "Sure, I still have a key. I will give it back to you later," Victor replied. "Fine, I should go back," Genevieve said. "Yes. Have you told my father that his granddaughter is in town?" Victor asked. "Yes, I did," Genevieve answered. "I hope you enjoy your time with your daughter. I need to go; I have a meeting," Victor said. Genevieve returned to her table. "So, what do you all do for a living? Genevieve told you I own a magazine, Skye," Bianca asked. "Yes, I do. It's a hit, called "Woman Who Rocks,' along with a fashion line and another company," Skye said. "I own a coffee shop," Lorenzo added. "Yes, coffee," Genevieve confirmed. "I'm running an art gallery," Skylar said. "Yes, and I'm a stay-at-home mom," Lila Rae added. "Yes, Lila is the perfect mother," Genevieve commented. "Genevieve, behave," Lorenzo said. "I work with my father at the shop," LJ said. "Oh," Bianca responded. "What about you? Are you in college?" Skye asked. "I just applied to some colleges, but I want to take a break before deciding what I want to do," Bianca explained. "I'm sure you're great at school," Genevieve said. "Yes, I usually get A's," Bianca added. "Good. Bianca, I have to go to the office for a while. Do you want to come with me?" Genevieve asked. "No, thanks. I will be fine," Bianca responded. "Okay. Do you have any money?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, I will be fine," Bianca assured her. "I will give you an extra key to my place. It won't be that long, but I have a big case," Genevieve said. "Yes, Bianca, when you're ready, I have children who would love to meet you. My daughter is about your age; her name is Raelyn," Lila Rae said. "Thanks, I would like to meet her. I know this is weird—it's weird for me too," Bianca replied. "Yes, but it will be safe," Genevieve said. She didn't know what else to say and left.
