Finding You, Genevieve, Chapter 14
Genevieve, ~ Genevieve, and Victor came out of the shower, and Victor went to kiss her. "I'm so glad we are back together. I will not push you to get married," Victor said. "Thank you, Victor. I'm lucky," Genevieve replied. "Yes, you are," Victor said. Genevieve picked out a dress from her closet, and Victor came behind her and zipped her up. "So, what are you doing today?" Victor asked. "I have to go to my office, then I'm taking Bianca to meet the Quartermaines," Genevieve said. "Are you sure about that?" Victor asked. "I know, but Bianca has a right to meet them. She brought her parents to town," Genevieve said, then went to put on her earrings. "Are you okay with that?" Victor asked. "Yes, I would like to meet them," Genevieve replied. "Yes?" Victor said. "I sure will?" Genevieve asked. "Genevieve, were you thinking about Alexander last night in your sleep?" Victor asked. "Why are you asking?" Genevieve responded. "You still need to deal with the past. You can't push it away like you did before," Victor said. "Don't do this, Victor. We just got back together," Genevieve replied. "I just worry about you sometimes. You don't always have to be so strong," Victor said. "I thought you loved that part of me?" Genevieve asked. "Yes, but sometimes it's hard to get to know you," Victor replied. "Well, you know what? All that happened between Alexander and me when he came back to town—were we together?" Genevieve said. "Yes, I know," Victor replied. "I'm done talking about this," Genevieve said, heading into the living room and picking up Princess, her dog. "Oh, Princess," Genevieve said. Bianca came by. "Genevieve," Bianca said. "Let's go. I have to go to my office first," Genevieve said. Victor came by. "I have to go," Victor said. "Well, you'll be at the Quartermaine for lunch?" Genevieve asked. "Maybe," Victor replied. He kissed Genevieve on the cheek and left. "Is everything okay?" Bianca asked. "Yes," Genevieve replied as she put Princess down. "Let's go," Genevieve said.
At Skye/Lorenzo's place—Skye was looking at a picture of Genevieve when Lorenzo came in. "Skye, are you okay?" Lorenzo asked. "Yes, I'm just thinking we almost lost Skylar and Genevieve, but we didn't. Genevieve has always been the strong one of all our children, but sometimes I hate it. It's hard to talk to her about her feelings," Skye said. "Yes, it is," Lorenzo responded. "I think she does love Bianca and wants her to stay," Skye said. "I think so too," Lorenzo replied. "I'm going to try to talk to her," Skye said. "Just don't push Genevieve. I think Alexander hurt her, and that's why she doesn't open up anymore," Lorenzo advised. "So do I. Something happened that night at the charity fundraiser at the hotel," Skye said. "Yes, it did," Lorenzo confirmed.
