5. Ares v/s Mars

Y/n POV 

As soon as we came back I went to my room ate some ambrosia and slept because those chemicals in my eyes did a wonder on me. When, I woke up I just heard "Kill graecus scum, Valdez" "Destroy Rome" This was a continuous banter and my head started to hurt and I felt like my head would explode. What did Valdez put in that sphere? I ran to Frank. 

Y/n: Frank, are you sleeping?

Frank: No y/n. I was sleeping.

Y/n: Sorry, but I wanted to ask something.

Frank: Are you fine? What did you want to ask?

Y/n: No I'm not fine two people are speaking in my head one I'd telling me to kill Greek and other to kill Romans.

Frank: oh that's just our father Mars and Ares. 

Y/n: What? Why are they fighting with each other. Aren't they the same person?

Frank: More like god. Romans and Greeks are fighting so the Greek and roman version is also fighting. 

Y/n: How are you not older than me. You're so wise. 

Frank: Thanks, but you're just experiencing this I have been hearing them ever since we entered the ancient lands. 

Y/n: I don't know maybe Leo's chemicals activated my brain.

Frank made a face. Like he was disgusted or disappointed couldn't tell.

Y/n: Why are you making that face? Do you not like Leo?

Frank: I don't know but he's taking you away from me. Like we used to talk a lot but now you only talk to him and he has made some of comments in the past about my worth and—

Y/n: That is why you hate it more when I talk to him because it makes you feel worthless.

Frank: Yeah. Overall I don't like the guy he's fine but he seems like a heartbreaker.

Ok, I could defend Leo but Frank has good points. Leo is very mean to him. Wow, despite knowing this I was spending time with him. Terrible sister moment. 

Y/n: It's ok Frankie I'm not going anywhere and I'll just do the day shift so that we can be together. Ok?

Frank: Yeah and don't call me Frankie.

Y/n: I love you Frankie go to sleep. 

Frank: You're so annoying. Love you too. Good night. 

I went to overboard because I have already slept a lot. And there is always help I can offer. The person who's was advised to avoid was there, Nico jk it was Leo.  Nico looked at me and smiled. I love his smile. I greeted him but ignored Leo a bit because of Frank but mostly because my father wanted me to kill Valdez and I didn't want to lose him. And Valdez was not happy. Currently everything was pretty chill like Hecate gave us a path and we're following it. It was surprisingly chill. We'll be reaching our next stop Venice I'm the morning. 

I asked a question that I probably shouldn't have "Nico, why did you warm up to me? Like I see you give everyone except Hazel the cold shoulder."

Nico looked at me very confused like he didn't know why he warmed up to me. After some thinking he said "You were the only one not terrified of me. You also caught me when I fell and you offered me your room and gave me privacy by putting up curtains. You didn't have to do all that but you did also you don't act all high and mighty because your father is  well not excluded from the Olympus family. Even though I'm son of Pluto you respect me not from fear but from love." 

I just said "Nico if you make me cry you'll see me treat you with anger damn it." We both just laughed Nico mostly smiled but that was his equivalent of laughing so I'm correct. 

Leo's POV 

Thank gods y/n is fine by how much she was sleeping I thought I mixed some methyl trichloride or chloroform. But as soon as she walked she ignored me and went to Nico. I don't like that guy he's so creepy. I bet he only spends time with y/n so she likes him. He definitely likes her like they spend so much time together. They even share a room. Nico is creepy he doesn't deserve y/n. Look at them talking and laughing. They're ignoring me everyone does. It was true I was going to be the 7th no the 9th wheel. That reminds me I hope Percy and Annabeth are  fine. 

Ofcoure they aren't fine they're in hell literally but I hope at least they're alive.  Anyways, I just noticed Nico is putting his hand on y/n's shoulder. Hate that guy. 

What I did next was not the smartest. But it was a spur of the moment. 

I turned the wii controller so fast that it changed direction of Argo II and well Nico fell. I rushed to him. Ok hate him or not I don't enjoy hurting people. Piper is correct I should come with a warning label. After, Nico stood up. Y/n grabbed my collar and took me towards the controls(wii controller but it doesn't sound as cool as controls). 

Y/n: What is wrong with you?

She looks very beautiful her chocolate eyes. The way her eyes just get a bit wide when she's angry. I could get lost in those eyes. But I'll get my ass kicked if I don't respond.

Leo: Nothing except ADHD and dyslexia. But you're the same so I don't think anything's wrong.

Y/n: Why did you steer so fast. I know that was on purpose. Don't lie. Why did you do it? 

Leo: Yeah it was on purpose and the purpose was to dodge something.

Y/n: what was that something? May I ask?

Leo: Uh.... OK I did it because that creep was pulling moves on you. And I didn't like that.

Y/n: Why are you calling Nico a creep. He's 3 years younger than you. And he's not pulling moves on me and even if he was why would you care? 

Leo: I would care because I don't want you to get hurt. And if your hurt than my friends would be worried. I don't want to see them like that. Ever since we came back and you were sleeping everyone was very worried and I don't like to see them that way. 

Y/n: Valdez, Every time I think you've changed you go back to your old ways. You're a heart breaker Valdez. You always hurt me. Don't talk to me. 

Good job Leo, you can show every emotion but translating your heart words is wheee you falter. Piper is going to kill me. She was proud that I got y/n back but I lost her again so Piper is going to kick me off my ship. I didn't think about Jason he'll blast me with lightning. 

If you don't know Jason he'll just look like the cute muscle guy who's peaceful and probably has a soup kitchen but as you get to know him you understand that all those things are true but he can also fight.
