Tiny POV
Everyone looked at each other, confused about who Sean was referring to.
"What guys?" I growled, still holding Sean against the wall.
"Three businessmen. I didn't exactly ask their names. Slasher made the deal with them," Sean whimpered, and I let go of him, shoving him on the ground with the others.
"Hawk, Lily was in a vehicle ahead of the truck. Find her!" I shouted, pacing.
Blade came downstairs carrying a duffle bag and boxes. He told us there were more upstairs, and a few Riders grabbed those and loaded them into the vans.
"Hawk!" I bit out, losing my patience.
"I found an SUV a few miles in front of the truck. Just give me a bit!" he shouted.
While Hawk did whatever he needed to, I helped load up the Disciples we had captured into our vehicles. I grabbed the zip ties out of a bag, tied Sean's hand behind his back, and placed duct tape over his mouth. Gears took him to the van with the others while I grabbed more zip ties and grabbed Chains next, dragging him outside and into the SUV with Sean.
"How did you know?" Chains asked, but I ignored him.
"It's not like I had a choice in letting her go. That was Slasher's decision," he argued.
Tired of hearing him talk, I grabbed the duct tape, put a strip over his mouth, and slammed his head against the van door before throwing him inside. I slammed the van door and paced outside, annoyed and scared, while Gears leaned against the van doing something on his phone.
We waited for Hawk to confirm the others didn't need help with the truck before driving back to the clubhouse. However, Hawk was taking his sweet time, and we had no idea what was happening with the other team.
"How the fuck did Ace do this?" I asked, pacing.
"He looked about as calm as you do right now," Gears replied, deadpanned. I stopped pacing and stared at him. "What?" he shrugged.
"Not helpful," I mumbled, resuming my walk.
"Okay," Hawk said through our earpiece. "Slasher and a few others escaped, and they're not with the truck. They're on the run,"
"Well, that's just fucking great," I groaned.
"I also found the SUV. They ditched it about three miles after we took the truck and switched cars. Unfortunately, they were smart and avoided roads with cameras after that. We lost them," Hawk confirmed.
"Fuck!" I screamed, punching the side of the van. "Find them!" I yelled, taking out my earpiece, and jumped into the driver's seat. Gears jumped in after me and remained silent.
I didn't wait for the others before I took off down the road, hitting every bump, praying Chains and Sean end up concussed. They are the reason Lily is missing and why she has led a horrible life. How a father and boyfriend could treat the person they supposedly love in the awful ways they did is beyond me.
Now, Slasher is in the wind, and so is Lily. This is my worst nightmare. The further from the Devil's Disciples clubhouse I drive, the further Lily is from me. I trust Hawk and his abilities, but right now, he is failing, and he better have some answers when I get back. Or it will be a hellish night for everyone.
Gears held onto the "oh shit" handle the entire drive, and I didn't blame him. I was angry and driving like it, too.
By the time we got to the clubhouse, it was dark, and any hope of finding Lily tonight was diminishing. Gears and I grabbed Chains and Sean and took them to the shed, chained them up, and let them wait for their nightmare to begin.
We headed back inside and met Killer, Blade, and Ace in Hawk's office. Tensions were high, and I could tell things went south for everyone tonight.
"What happened?" I asked Killer.
"They stacked the truck like we thought, but in all the chaos, Slasher got away. The girls are safe, and we recovered the drugs as well. Most of the Disciples are badly wounded or dead. The whole thing was a shitshow, and the police will be involved," Killer groaned, sitting down.
"You know the cops won't dig too deep. We left them the drugs and some Disciples, and they won't look further than that," Blade pointed out.
"Okay, so I tracked the gray sedan to a private airstrip," Hawk stated, pulling up several videos of the car playing on a loop. None of the videos showed who was in the car, and I'm sure Hawk already tried to find out.
"Did you find their plane and where they went?" Killer asked.
"No, because it's a private jet, and nothing has to be logged. Just flight manifests with the number of people and destination. There were numerous flights between the hour they left the clubhouse and possibly took off. Too many to narrow down without more information. If they're smart, which they appear to be, they probably paid someone to keep them off the record," Hawk said, confirming my worst nightmare.
"We lost her," I whispered. "I promised her she would never have to live a life of fear again, and now she's with people who want God knows what from her, and I'm not there!"
Gears put a hand on my shoulder. "We found Lily once. We will find her again. Come on, there's not much we can do until we get more information. Until then, we have to wait," he said.
Wait?! I'm not going to stand around and wait! I know Gears is trying to keep me occupied, knowing if I don't stay busy, I will do something stupid. But I'll be damned if I sit by and do nothing to get my girl back.
