Lily POV
As I worked in the kitchen I tried to focus on what I wanted to make or would need, but my head spun with the information from the file. Neither of my parents wanted me, which subconsciously, I always knew, but confirming it is a whole other story. My mom is dead, and my dad sold me to men who wanted to do god knows what to me.
That isn't a family. Not by a long shot.
I never thought someone else could have it worse than me, but Tiny proved me wrong, and suddenly, my problems seemed irrelevant. Nothing I could say would change the situation, but I wanted to help however I could. Tiny kept a hand on me at all times, and as much as I appreciated it and it calmed him down, it sent sparks all over my body.
The longer Tiny touched me, the more my body instinctively reacted, and I couldn't hide the blush or heat that took over my body. Tiny took all my fears away with each touch and kiss. He asked me for permission at every corner, allowing me to set the boundaries and pace. Tiny replaced memories of every other man who has touched me with his, and I felt loved.
Looking around the kitchen, I started picturing my future here with the Riders and Tiny and if I hadn't cried my eyes out hours earlier they would start again. Tiger had thought of everything and now it's my turn to help her turn her dreams into reality.
Out front, I asked if they wanted help putting the espresso machine together, but Tiger waved me off, and I returned to the kitchen. After an hour, I had everything organized, a list of items I still needed, and a very long list of things I wanted to bake.
Tiny leaned against the doorway, causing his shirt to pull tightly against his toned chest, and stared at me. His eyes traveled down my body, sending chills across my body and my heart to pound. "Are you ready to go?" he growled.
"Yes," I breathed. "Is everything okay?"
Tiny pushed off the doorframe and strode over to me, pulling me into him, and I gasped feeling his hardened cock against me. "Does everything feel okay to you?" he growled in my hair, and all I could do was nod in response.
Looking up, Tiny's eyes were wild. "Let's go," he said and we headed back to the clubhouse.
Back at the clubhouse, the guys were called into a meeting, which Tiny was not happy about. So I started on the baked goods I promised Tiger, which hopefully would put Tiny in a better mood as well. The kitchen cabinets and fridge were bare, which made sense since Whiskey and Tiger had been gone. I wrote a list of items needed, stuck it on the fridge like Whiskey asked me to, and started finding the ingredients to make a familiar favorite.
Ginger found me in the kitchen and offered to help me while Ellie was down for a nap, and I gladly accepted the help and company. We spent the next hour and a half talking and making a plan to finish Callie's nursery before she came home. The timer for the oven went off, and I pulled out the dessert and set another timer to let it cool.
The guys filled out of the meeting and I spotted Tiny, who stood head and shoulders above the others. His eyes met mine and he quickly made his way to me, picked me up, and kissed me senselessly. Tiny's hands squeezed my ass causing me to squeal and tighten my legs around his torso.
Tiny pulled away and wiggled his eyebrows saying, "I smell chocolate," and walked us into the kitchen.
"It's not done yet!" I squealed.
Inside the kitchen, Tiny set me on the counter and eyed the chocolate cake. His green eyes pleaded with me to eat the cake now, but I shook my head. Tiny whined like a child but he knew I wouldn't change my mind. So we joined Gears, Blade, Ace, Tiger, and Ginger in the living room.
Tiger told the guys about the plan to finish the nursery, and Blade said he had a spare key and we could get started tomorrow.
"Oh, speaking of Kayla, do you know what her and Whiskey's favorite treats or flavors are? I want to make them something for the party," I offered.
"Peanut butter," they all answered, and I laughed.
"Whiskey loves peanut butter, and Kayla loves anything with chocolate," Blade clarified.
"Got it," I nodded. "I put a list of things I wanted to get from the store on the fridge, but I know Whiskey normally does the shopping, and he isn't here."
"I can take you tomorrow after we work on the nursery if that works," Tiny offered, and I agreed.
Tiger leaned over the table and pointed a finger at Tiny. "I swear, I better not get a phone call saying you got kicked out of the store or lost this time," she lectured. "Lily, keep an eye on this one. There is a reason we don't let him do the grocery shopping," she said, shaking her head.
I didn't know what Tiger meant, but I told her I would keep an eye on him. The timer in the kitchen went off, and I excused myself from the table. I grabbed the chocolate frosting from the fridge along with the fruit spread and worked on putting the layers of cake together. The world faded away as I concentrated on decorating, and I slipped into my happy place.
I smiled at the decorated cake and placed it on the bar top. It didn't take long before everyone gathered around. Gears attempted to stick his finger in the frosting, but Tiny smacked it away.
"It is a dark chocolate, raspberry-filled cake," I said, smiling, and cut slices for everyone.
Hawk was still in his office, so I grabbed a slice and headed for his office. I knocked and heard a faint yes before entering.
"I made cake," I said, placing the plate on his desk. Hawk stared at me and played with his lip ring. "I just wanted to thank you for finding me and not giving up," I breathed.
"You're welcome. You are one of us," Hawk nodded and returned to his computer.
"Oh, I almost forgot," Hawk said, rummaging through a drawer and pulling out a small box. "This is for you."
A brand new iPhone.
"It's fully charged and has everyone's number loaded in it," he smiled and turned his attention to the cake. I watched Hawk take a bit and a small smile tugged at his lips before returning to his work.
I left the office and returned to the others, staring at the box in my hands. I sat next to Tiny and placed the box on the table.
"Oh, good! Hawk said it came in yesterday," Tiny smiled, nodding to the new iPhone. "Open it. If you hate the color, we can get you a different one."
The way Tiny said everything so casually caught me off guard. No one has ever given me a gift, let alone one as expensive as this. I opened the box and found a brand-new, soft purple phone staring back at me. My favorite color.
"Tiny-I -"
"Don't, Sunshine. I realized you didn't have a phone, and I don't want you to be without one," he replied, kissing my nose.
I tapped the screen, which lit up with a picture of Tiny and me at Kayla's wedding months ago. The photo was beautiful, but the date took my breath away.
Is it already March?
