Lily POV

Ava, the waitress, took me to her apartment and found me better-fitting clothes, including a sweatshirt, to change into. She showed me the bathroom and gave me a fresh towel to shower.

I didn't.

I used a corner of the towel and some soap to wash my armpits and face before changing into the new clothes. In the living room, Ava placed a sheet, blanket, and pillow on the couch.

"I don't have another room, but the couch is yours. I just need a few hours of sleep before we head back to the diner if that's alright with you," Ava asked.

"Oh, that's fine. We can go whenever," I said. But truthfully, I wanted to return to the diner now.

"Great. Come and wake me if you need anything," Ava said, closing the door to her room.

I climbed onto the couch, got under the blanket, and stared at the ceiling. In a few hours, the Phoenix Riders will be here, and I have no idea what to expect. I know Tiny will be here, and I don't know if he will be furious or forgive me, which has me on edge.

Tiny's never pushed you away, Lily. He has always never turned you away because of your past. Yes, this differs from before, but that doesn't mean Tiny will treat you differently. Right?

I spent the next two hours tossing and turning, counting the minutes until we returned to the diner. Eventually, I heard Ava get up and take a shower, so I folded the sheets and blankets into a neat pile before she came out.

Despite trying to focus on the beautiful surroundings, my nerves got the better of me, and I had to remind myself to breathe. We were nowhere near Atlanta, and the southern charm was showing. The buildings were smaller, with a small-town feeling and more stop signs than lights.

Ava pulled into the diner's parking lot, and I glanced at the clock. 9:27 a.m. I talked to Hope a little over five hours ago, but I don't know how long it takes to get here from Washington.

Entering the diner, another female greeted us, who looked like she could be Ava's sister.

"Hey, I thought you had today off?" the waitress asked.

"Lily needed a ride back here," Ava answered, smiling at me. "Lily, this is my sister, Charlotte. Charlotte, this is Lily."

Charlotte shook my hand and asked if I wanted anything to eat, but I said no before sitting back in my corner booth. The sisters talked, probably about me and what I wore to the diner last night. They knew I was in trouble and helped me without question, and I didn't know how to thank them.

Ava sat down with me, and shortly after, Charlotte brought out two stacks of pancakes and syrup for us. "I know you said you weren't hungry, but I didn't want to eat while you stared. If you want something else, let me know!" she exclaimed.

"I love pancakes. Thank you," I smiled and ate half my stack before pushing my plate away.

Ava finished and helped her sister in the back, leaving me alone with my thoughts and worries.

What if they don't find me? Or if Tiny wants nothing to do with me? Tiger and Kayla found a Phoenix Rider who would do anything for their women. But then again, I'm not his.

The slamming of a car door pulled me from my thoughts. Looking through the blinds, I saw several large men outside, and my heart raced.

They found me....

But a patch on one man caught my eye. The Phoenix Riders. My eyes traveled up their body, and I found piercing green eyes staring back at me.

Tiny.

I stood up as he walked into the diner, but he stood like a statue in the doorway, filled with tension and fear. Unmoving. Gears and Tiger followed behind him, waiting for someone to make the first move.

Is Tiny waiting for me to say something? I want to jump in his arms and tell him it's okay and that I don't blame him for anything. But the fear in his eyes has me hesitating.

Tiny's quiet voice broke the silence.

"I'm here, Lily."

That one sentence gave me all the assurance I needed. Without a second thought, I closed the space between us and jumped into his arms. Tiny didn't hesitate, catching me, wrapping me in his warmth and strength. He buried his face in my neck, and I felt his silent tears land on my shoulder. I squeezed my arms tighter around his neck, telling him I was here and I was not going anywhere without him.

"You came for me," I whispered.

"I will always come for you. We haven't stopped looking for you, Sunshine," he assured me.

Eventually, the rest of the world faded in, and I could hear Killer and Tiger talking to Ava, and I pulled away from Tiny. I tried to get down, but he refused to let go of me. Smiling, I wiped away the last of his tears and kissed his cheek. It was quick, and when I pulled away, Tiny stared at me with wild eyes.

My cheeks rose with heat, and I tried to look away, but Tiny kissed every square inch of my face, except my lips. His lips were soft and dominating against my skin, and for the first time, I understood what it is like to be kissed by someone who loves you.

Someone cleared their throat behind me, and I bashfully found Ava and Tiger smiling at us. Tiny set me down but pulled my back flush to him. It wasn't to control but to protect me, and I loved it.

"I'm glad your friends found you," Ava said.

"Thank you for everything," I smiled.

"Thank you," Tiny said, holding his hand out to Ava. At that moment, there was something unspoken between them, but I was too excited to be back with my family to care.

Everyone talked for a few minutes, but I could only focus on the strong arms holding me and the sense of peace I felt again. Eventually, we said goodbye and headed outside. We all stood in a circle, and Hawk looked stressed.

"I hate to ask you this Lily, but-"

"Not now," Tiny growled, cutting Hawk off. They stared at one another for a minute before Tiger interrupted them.

"Let's get Lily to the hotel. I'm sure she's ready for some quiet and relaxing," Tiger said, smiling at me. "Killer and Ace, you have a plane to catch."

I didn't understand what was happening, but I didn't care. Tiny came for me and still wanted me after everything.

This is my family, and I refuse to let it go now.
