We so don't got this.

Days later and I'm still not sure why agreed, I should probably go back on that decision. This is overly stupid and dumb and totally not thought through. But a part of me doesn't let me do it.

Maybe because I'm tired of proving everyone right that I'm not capable of having a relationship. Which shouldn't bother me and I shouldn't care, but I do. Fuck, I really do.

How could I not, when it's all people comment in every single one of our family's hang outs. Plus with my mom always trying to play matchmaker, it gets frustrating.

"Hey, we don't have to go if you don't want to. We can always say one of us got sick or something" Ro nudges my arm as to break my thoughts.

"Mom would go crazy if we did that" I snort.

"Probably" he presses his lips together with a short nod knowing I'm right, "I have to say though, is pretty weird Lydia wanting to meet all of the sudden"

I sneer, "Doesn't surprise, I can bet you she's going to announce some shit. New house? Renewing their vows? New deal with some big brand? Maybe all three"

"This is going to be lots of fun then" he cringes while helping me toss the bags onto the trunk of my car.

"Nothing we haven't dealt with before, we'll, except for the fake dating your best friend part" I flash him a fake smile cause the idiot just had to be rooting for it.

Rowan chuckles, "Thank god for that"

I roll my eyes and open the door from the driver's side so I can slide onto the seat. Reaching for the charger I plug my phone and look up to see a running Xander moving towards us.

"Sorry I'm late, my parents called" he explains, not wasting time to get in the passenger seat.

"That's-" I don't get to finish.

"Great, I've got the the whole back seats all just for me" Rowan rubs his hands like a happy child, getting inside the car as well.

Nodding my head slowly while pursing my lips I grip onto the wheel and drive off. Unlikely many people I've met throughout my life, I actually enjoying driving a lot so I don't really mind doing it on long trips.

Besides, that gives me half of the playlist rights which is just the most important thing on any car trip. The amount of times me and my siblings fought over it when we were younger isn't written.

"So, I made a list" Xander announces, going to his notes app where I see a bunch of marks with words I can't really read.

"A prepared man" Rowan pats his shoulders from the back, grinning as he asks "Isn't he just the perfect catch, sis?"

I glare at him through the mirror, "Stop that"

"Hey I'm just playing the part of a supportive brother who's so very happy for you" he holds up his arms in the air as if he was innocent.

"I think she's just jealous cause you're like the Steve of our relationship" Xander glances at my brother over his shoulder and they share a nod.
