The worst part of holidays is that they end.

After taking two days off and by that I mean staying at home and having some me time, not seeing anyone else, I'm back in the building I've grown to know every corner of.

It's also the first time I'm coming here after being official that Elite and IMG are merging, which overall feels weird. At least, I'm one step closer to my big dream.

I guess it's good as well to be doing something, knowing myself I'd fall into old habits of procrastinating everything and spending all day everyday in my couch watching TV and reading books. That sounds good until it's all you do.

Then, it turns kinda sad and a bit worrying for others. Once, Rowan thought I was going through some type of depressive breakdown. I never got out of the bed and went outside so fast.

I like to keep a healthy life and isolation is the worst way to do that. Not to mention, it might start feeling like I'm wasting my time when I should probably be enjoying it. By that, I don't mean that reading books is 'wasting' time, but I could do it outside you know?

With the years I gained the habit of going to a park and sitting on a bench, feeling the nature around me. Yeah it sounds kind of dumb but it freshens the mind as well as it allows me to see other human beings in their little lives.

It's really therapeutic when you just stop for a moment and look around. Realise that everyone has their own minds, their own lives and somehow we're still all connected. I like to watch their interactions, or even their time wi tho themselves. See how each person acts in a different way.

"There you are!" Kira, my manager, stops at the sight of me, seeming to be at lost of breath, "We have so much to discuss, what the hell were you thinking!"

"I...it's good to see you too?" I blink at the woman.

"Nuh-uh, I'm not letting you get your way out of this! As you long time manager and somewhat friend, I've extremely happy for you and honestly- effing finally!- but a warning would've been nice!" great, I can add crazy manager to my list of weird things happening this week.

"Okay, Kira, breathe" i place my hands on her shoulders, helping her calm down, "What's going on and what are you talking about?"

"This!" she flashes her phone in my face, showing me a photo of me, my grandparents and- oh shit.

"No, no, no." I shake my head staring between the screen and her bulging eyes, "When was that posted?!"

"Like four days ago! Since when are you dating, of all people, Alexander Lane? I mean, understandable, kinda of saw it coming too, but how?!" she points at the phone, then at me.

I chew the inside of my cheek, "We're...not."

"What?" she frowns in confusion, "Explain the hand around you then and why he's at your family's- wait, fuck I'm so sorry, are him and Ro together instead and I got it all wrong?"

I have to hold back a laugh, "God no, well, at least I don't think so. Wouldn't really surprise me from how close those two are. But to explain, we made an agreement to fake date because of my parents, it's a bit of a mess."
