"So, what's the verdict?"

My gaze lands on a grinning Lane, watching me take one final bite of the last sushi roll on the plate. The taste of heaven on the tip of my tongue.

"I need you as my personal chef," I state.

"I can be anything you want, angel." he grins.

Shaking my head, I place my plate on the sink and move to the living room. I drop on his comfy ass couch and wait for Lane to join me.

We spend about ten minutes choosing what game we're playing until we finally agree on Wii's tennis game. He better prepare himself, I'm so winning this.

"Loser plans the second date," Xander challenges.

I hum, "You better start thinking then"

He quirks a brow, surprised by my confidence on this. What can I say, didn't play against Rowan for years just to lose now.

Choosing the settings and the amount of rounds we want to play, we finally begin a little later. I grab my remote and stretch my back muscles.

Then, Lane pushes the round table in front of his couch away, so we can have more space. I grin when I realise I'm the one starting, raising my hair before hitting the tennis ball on the screen.

He sends it back without much effort but I'm faster and cut it off with my closest player to the net. I know he wasn't expecting that when his brows lift and he misses the ball with the shock.

"Better upgrade your game, pretty boy" I wink.

"So that's how it's going to be?" he bobs his head as if accepting the challenge, rolling up the sleeves of his shirt and composing himself, "Game's on, Red."

I grin, always enjoy a good harmless competition. Even more when Lane stays true to his word and comes out like a goddamn pro, playing much better now.

I don't let it take me down and use my secret tricks carefully. Managing the strength and length of my throws, I play a little with both him and his players.

Reaching for a pattern for a few minutes, I finally change tactics and shoot a long ball. He, as I was expecting, didn't see that one coming and completely fails to hit it.

"Not looking too good for you, Lane" I taunt.

"Remind me to beat your brother's ass for teaching you how to play this well," he shakes his head.

I cross my arms, "Who says he taught me?"

"He'd always come to me when he needed console because he lost to you, even being the one to teach you in the first place," Xander explains.

"Aww, what a cute bromance" I roll my eyes.

"Jealous, angel?" he grins.

I may have a lot of flaws, but the day I start feeling jealous because of my brother, I give you full permission to shoot me. That shithead? No shot against me whatsoever.
