Chapter 52: Engaged?

Inuyasha and Ayame were chasing Koga down, but couldn't catch up to him.

"Damn he's fast!" Inuyasha lightly panted.

Inuyasha picked up the pace, running quicker than Ayame.

"You mangy wolf!"

"Inuyasha?"

Kagome looked over Koga's shoulder finally seeing Inuyasha.

"Let go of my Kagome!"

Kagome felt her face turn red,
"His?"

Koga paused in his steps, 
"His Kagome?!"

He turned around, readjusting Kagome in a bridal carry.

"She's on a date with me you mutt face not you!"

Koga quickly turned around and placed Kagome on the ground next to him. Inuyasha caught up to his rival, as they stood across from each other.

"No more running! You and me, Inuyasha!" Koga proclaimed.

Inuyasha rolled up his sleeves,
"Keh! I've been waiting for this!"

They both started to charge towards each other, both of them with their fists in the air. Koga landed the first punch on Inuyasha's shoulder. Inuyasha felt a slight sting. Inuyasha tried to land a punch, but Koga quickly dodged him.

"Why is Koga so much faster than me?!"

Koga swept Inuyasha's leg, tripping him.

"You damn dog! You have no chance against me!"

Inuyasha slowly stood up and charged once again at his cocky foe.

"Stop it you two!" Kagome pleaded.

Ayame came running in the distance, with Sango, Miroku, and Shippo catching up behind her.

"What the-" Miroku stopped himself seeing the two jealous boys fighting each other ahead.

"Oh great! Now we have a fight to stop!" Shippo said.

Koga ran up behind Inuyasha and clasped his hands together, slamming Inuyasha in the back.

"Agh!" Inuyasha grimaced in pain.

"Just give up Inuyasha! Kagome is mine!"

Inuyasha lightly growled and stood up,

"You better quit saying that!" Inuyasha yelled finally landing a punch on Koga right in the jaw.

Koga smirked, wiping a bit of blood off his lip. He spit red on the dusty ground.

"That one was free..."

The two started to go at each other again. Koga pushed Inuyasha on the ground, scraping his elbows against the sidewalk next to them. He quickly stood up again, his eyebrows furrowed at his opponent.

"Kagome!" she heard someone call her name.

She saw Ayame and the others rushing towards them. Suddenly another pair was running towards Kagome.

"Sister Kagome!" Hakkaku called next to Ginta.

"Sister?" Kagome questioned in embarrassment.

Inuyasha and Koga grabbed each other's shoulders trying to push each other over again. Ginta and Hakkaku ran in front of Ayame, their arms locked.

"Get out of here Ayame! Koga has found his woman!" Ginta stated.

"If you two don't get out of my way..." Ayame huffed.

Miroku came up behind Ayame and slammed an open hand on top of Ginta and Hakkaku's heads, toppling them both over on their backs.

Miroku stood taller and stared at Ayame,
