The play was just a few days away as Sango and the rest of her classmates started making props and gathering costumes together.

"You know I'm really worried," Sango said.

"About what?" Kagome asked her.

"My part in the play. I-I just don't think I can perform in front of everyone like that."

"You got this Sango! I promise," Kagome assured her.

"I would be more confident, but Mr. Jakotsu wasn't here yesterday."

"That is true...I wonder if he's sick?" Kagome asked.

"I'm here! I'm here!" Jakotsu shouted, running in.

"Mr. Jakotsu!! Are you okay?" Sango asked him.

"Better than I'll ever be! Alright everyone listen up! The play is only in two days and it's our final one! I need backgrounds and costumes to be sorted by the end of class today, along with props. I will make you stay after school if I have to," Jakotsu announced.

They all got to work and started with the backgrounds being painted.

"At least these are easy, since they are all in black and white," Miroku said on a positive note.

Mr. Jakotsu's phone buzzed in his pocket,

"One second everyone!"

Mr. Jakotsu walked outside the theater and answered his phone,

"What?"

"You are going to be able to make it tonight aren't you?" the voice asked him.

"But we just got finished with a place this afternoon, and I almost missed my class-"

"What were you told Jakotsu? This so called theater should mean nothing to you! It was given to you for cover, not to get attached to!" he yelled.

Jakotsu slightly frowned as he peeked through the theater door window, looking at all of his students trying their best to make his play shine.

"I...you're right brother. My apologies. Where do we meet?" he asked

"The same alleyway we always meet at. You better be ready, and if you're not, your play will be taken away."

"No, you can't!" Jakotsu cried.

"Remember 6 o'clock!"

Jakotsu sighed,

"Yes Renkotsu..."

The rest of the theater class finished painting the scenery. The setting was a black and white detective's office. Everyone gathered around for the last minutes of class.

"If some of you would like, you can stay after school and set up the props, but we can always work on that tomorrow. Hope you all have an excellent rest of the day!" Mr. Jakotsu dismissed them.

"I think I'm going to stay behind and help," Sango said.

"I wish I could help you Sango, but Mrs. Taisho gave me a lot of homework to do," Kagome told her.
