The lunch bell had rang and Kagome was on her way to her next class.
"Kagome! I'm so excited that we have 4th block together!" Sango smiled.
"Me too Sango! I'm excited!" Kagome replied.
Their next class was theater, which was located in the auditorium. The two girls entered and sat down in one of the theater seats. Miroku followed after them and sat between them,
"Why hello again ladies!!" Miroku said putting his arms around them both.
Kagome and Sango cringed, pushing them out of the seat together.
"Such an idiot..." Sango thought silently.
The late bell was about to ring and there weren't that many people inside. Another student came in and who would of thought it was Inuyasha. Kagome crossed her arms and sighed. Inuyasha sighed and went inside sitting in front of them. Miroku skipped over the rows and landed beside him.
"Wassup Inuyasha?" Miroku asked him.
"Nothing, ugh why outta all the classes, I get this one?!" he complained.
Miroku slightly laughed,
"Yea same here, I don't wanna be here..."
Two more people came in, a boy and a girl and they seemed to be arguing.
"C'mon! I finally get to transfer and yet you won't speak a word to me!" the girl yelled.
"You didn't HAVE to come you!" he shouted at her.
"You are so inconsiderate Koga!" the girl yelled black with a blush.
Kagome widened her eyes and turned slowly, "Koga? That name...in the hallway!"
Kagome shot up from her chair and walked in front of Koga.
"Hey! You were the one who almost pushed me in the hallway!"
"What I don't remember running into someone so... beautiful like you?" Koga answered.
Kagome sort of blushed and didn't know what to say.
"Um, Koga who's this supposed to be!?" the girl asked.
"Relax Ayame you don't need to know about my personal life anyway," Koga replied.
Ayame sort of frowned and look down at the floor, her red pigtails bounced as she dragged Koga to a seat with her. Kagome went back to her seat as four more came in after the late bell rang. Suddenly, the lights dimmed and focused on the stage. Everyone looked ahead puzzled as a man walks out. He was facing his back to them, until he turned around and shook his hips.
"Hello students!! My name is Mr. Jakotsu and welcome to theater!!" the man yelled aloud, throwing his arms out.
There was dead silence in the auditorium as he walked down the steps and the lights went back to normal.
"Today for class I want you to meet your classmates and introduce yourselves to them, but before that, let me call roll," he explained, carrying a clipboard.
"Kagome?" "Here!"
"Sango?" "Here."
"Miroku?" "Ima here."
"Inuyasha?" "Yea yea, I'm here..."
"Kagura?" "Present."
"Kanna?" "Yes."
"Koga?" "Yea."
"Ayame?" "Here!"
"Sesshomaru?" "I'm here..."
"Hojo?" "Yes sir here!"
"Excellent! Now let's pair you up! Sesshomaru and Kanna, Kagura and Sango, Miroku and Ayame, Hojo and Koga, and last but not least, Inuyasha and Kagome!"
Inuyasha sighed in annoyance, "What? Why us?"
Jakotsu looked at him strange, "You both just look good together, but I will admit your cute."
Inuyasha twitched in terror as everyone got together with each other.
"So, you looking for any guys?" Miroku asked Ayame.
"Sorry but, I'm already set on someone..." she answered.
"Well, that sucks," he said scratching the back of his head.
"Sorry! But I guess I can tell you about myself! I'm a freshman and a straight A student! I love to read and hike with others!" she said trying to keep on topic.
"Cool I guess. I do good in school as well and love to hang with the ladies, I try to not make it noticeable..." he said.
"Yea, I can tell..." Ayame sweat dropped.
Sesshomaru and Kanna didn't say a word and just stared at the ground.
"This is stupid..." Sesshomaru said.
"Yes," Kanna said blankly.
Sango balanced on her tip toes and smiled,
"So, what grade are you in? I'm in tenth!"
"Twelfth," she said simply.
"What do you like to do?" Sango thought.
"Live," she sighed, cooling off with a fan.
"This is definitely not working..." Sango thought to herself.
Koga had his arms crossed as Hojo kept ranting about drama.
"I just love theater SO MUCH! It's probably one of the most greatest classes ever. I've always taken this class and I'll keep doing so through ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade! And then I'll be able to go away from, blah blah blah blah..." Hojo continued.
Inuyasha and Kagome weren't speaking, feeling an awkward tension.
Mr. Jakotsu walked by and frowned,
"Awww, c'mon you cuties!" he said pushing them closer, "Don't be shy!" He then walked to the others.
"I don't wanna talk," Inuyasha huffed.
Kagome clenched her fist and her eyebrows were furrowed.
"So you hate me so much, that you won't even talk to me?" she said to him.
"I-I never said that," he mumbled.
"Then why is it so hard to talk to me?! I just want to be your friend Inuyasha!" Kagome finally said.
He didn't respond as he thought to himself,
"I can't be around you without feeling weird. I don't get it! I only feel this way around Kikyo but now I..." he trailed off uncrossing his arms. Inuyasha walked closer to her and stuffed his hands in his pockets with a light color to his cheeks.
Kagome looked closely, reading his face,
"Is he, is he trying to say sorry?"
Inuyasha struggled to say anything, for his pride always got in the way.
"I forgive you," Kagome smiled, knowing what he was going to say.
"My heart, it's pounding..." Inuyasha thought.
