Chapter 51: Koga?

Inuyasha and the gang were at Kagome's house preparing for their final exams,

"Gah! What does this mean!?" Kagome whined to Sango.

"It's okay Kagome! You know the material, it's just the testing part..." Sango trailed off.

"Kagome, why are you so worried about it anyways?" Inuyasha asked.

"If I don't go to a good school, I don't know what I'll do! Take over the shrine? No thanks!"

Miroku was zoned out in his textbook, ignoring all of them.

"Miroku sure is focused," Sango noticed.

"Yeah..." Inuyasha sighed.

"I can't tell them anything about what happened last week. Miroku has got to do it on his own. He'd never forgive me otherwise, but I can't help worrying about him. He's always so damn positive about everything. I knew he had a problem but not that serious," he thought to himself.

"Kagome, are you really going to wear that on your date?" Sango asked

Kagome was wearing a plain white t-shirt and sweatpants.

"Of course not, I have other things to wear!"

Inuyasha felt himself frown again. 

"Here I'll show you," Kagome spoke gabbing Sango's arm and pulling her upstairs to her room. 

"Inuyasha, you can't be mad," Miroku whispered.

"I'm not! She can do whatever the hell she wants, see if I care!"

Miroku rolled his eyes,
"Right..."

Kagome pulled out a pair of jeans and a white blouse.

"I was thinking something like this?" Kagome asked.

"That's a nice casual outfit!"

"I don't really have  a lot of options... I was thinking of wearing some bracelets and a nice pair of shoes to make it look nicer?"

"That's a great idea!"

Kagome went through her jewelry box looking for the perfect accessories to match her date outfit.

"Kagome..."

She looked over at her friend.

"Are you sure about this? You like Inuyasha after all don't you?"

Kagome had a simple silver bracelet that she slipped over her hand and onto her wrist,
"I do have a crush on him, but he's hung up on Kikyo and I can't do anything about that."

"You're right," Sango nodded.

"Are you gonna tell her Miroku? You said you would."

"In time I will Inuyasha, no need for her to worry right now," Miroku replied. 

Kagome came back downstairs in her date outfit with a faint smile on her face.

"Kagome..." Inuyasha slowly spoke.

"Wow Kagome, you look great!" Miroku complimented.

"Stunning Kagome!" Sango followed.

"Thanks you guys," she grinned.

"Yeah..." Inuyasha said lightly.

"You guys can feel free to stay here and study some more if you'd like, since just my Grandpa is home. I'm sure I won't be out that long," Kagome stated

There was a sudden knock on the front door.

"I got it," Inuyasha said standing up.

Inuyasha turned the knob, opening the door.
