Kagome finally found her biology class, running through the door.

"Thank goodness I made it," she thought to herself with a happy expression.

The late bell rang as Kagome took her seat.

The classroom walls were covered with colorful posters. The wooden floor was shiny with different skeletons of many species stacked on the shelves around the room.

"Hello everyone," the teacher said standing from behind his desk.

"You may call me Mr. Jinenji" he smiled.

"He's so ugly and gross looking," Kagome heard from behind her.

"People are so mean..." Kagome thought silently to herself.

Mr. Jinenji grabbed some papers and handed them out.

"This is your syllabus, please let me go over it quickly so we can get it over with," he spoke with a grin.

Kagome felt something poke her arm, turning to see it was another girl about her age.

"Hi! My name's Sango!" she introduced.

"Oh I'm Kagome," she replied.

"Do you like biology?"

"I don't really know, the teacher seems really nice," Kagome assumed.

"Can I see your schedule?" Sango asked.

"Yea sure!" Kagome answered, handing it to her.

Higurashi, Kagome

1st Jinenji - Biology

2nd Taisho - Algebra

3rd Hosenki - Study Hall

Lunch

4th Jakotsu - Theater

"Ah I see, we have almost every class with each other! The only difference is your second block," Sango explained.

"Oh really? That's awesome!" Kagome said taking her schedule back.

"Let's be friends okay?" Sango asked happily.

Kagome nodded with a rosy pink in her cheeks.

Everyone in the class started to read the paper Mr. Jinenji handed out to them.

"Everyone please get this signed, it's about the lab safety and precautions in the lab," Mr. Jinenji informed.

An hour later.

All of the students had their bags backed and lined up to leave the room. Kagome walked over to Sango with her yellow backpack on her back,

"So do you know where Mrs. Taisho's room is?" Kagome asked.

"Sadly, I do..." Sango sighed.

"Sadly?" Kagome was confused.

"Mrs. Taisho is a very mean and strict teacher here. She's the algebra teacher and when you fail her class, you're forced to take it again over summer and she's even worse then!" Sango described.

"That bad?! Oh man... I'm terrible at math," Kagome slouched.

The bell rang and everyone filed out of their rooms.

Sango grabbed Kagome's arm, pulling her down the hall.

"Let's see, her room number should be 1213..." Sango trailed off.

"Aha! Here it is," Sango said stopping in front of the door.

"Well, I guess I will see you in 3rd block right?"

"Yep! Definitely!" Kagome answered waving goodbye.

Kagome walked in slowly with a little fear, seeing the room had no posters, no color, nothing fun at all inside. She sat down in the back of the room, laying her things out. Her desk was carved into, saying things like...

'Hurry run while you can'

'She's a demon'

'Help me'

'Damn it I'm screwed'

Kagome gulped, looking around to see only two other people in the room with her.

"Is everyone going to skip this class just because of her?" she wondered.

Suddenly, a crowd of people came in and sat down as fast as they could within seconds, the late bell ringing in the background. Kagome turned and heard the door slam, a woman standing firmly. She had long silver hair and crescent tattoo on her forehead.

"Her hair is like that boy's who helped me in the hallway..." Kagome thought silently.

The woman slapped her desk with her pointer, giving the class a cold glare.

"My name is Mrs. Taisho and you will call me nothing else," she snapped.

Kagome held on tighter to her pencil, "I have a bad feeling about this," she thought to herself.

Mrs. Taisho started writing an equation on the board, when there was a knock on the door.

"You're late young man!" she scolded the late student.

"Yea whatever, don't bite my head off," he sassed back at her.

The late student sat down beside Kagome and laid his head on his hand.

"It was him! He was the one who helped me up, what's his name?"

He looked over beside him and looked at her,

"What are you looking at?"

Kagome blinked and quickly turned away,

"Man he was a lot nicer in the hall, does he even recognize me!?" Kagome thought.

Mrs. Taisho pulled down the screen and started to present rules and guidelines she wanted them to follow.

"Listen up! I expect all of you to try your best at anything and everything and..." she continued to rant as Kagome stopped paying attention.

She looked closely at the boy's paper reading his name.

Inuyasha

"His name is Inuyasha?" she asked herself.

Kagome tapped his shoulder, him looking over at her.

"Um, do you remember helping me in the hallway?" she whispered.

Inuyasha looked closer at Kagome and shrugged.

"What of it?"

"I just wanted to say thanks!" Kagome whispered with a smile.

Inuyasha blushed and looked ahead, "Yea whatever..."

Kagome looked at him and smiled wider,

"He seems okay to me."

"You two! Stop talking!" Mrs. Taisho screamed at them.

"Y-yes ma'am!" Kagome answered.
