Chapter 47: Rewritten?

 Inuyasha continued pounding on the door,
"Koga!! You better get back here!"

 Kagome was nervous that Koga was the new person she had to act with.

"I'm sure you'll do great Koga!" she said really trying to convince herself.

"No worries, Inuyasha is not as talented as I am."

Kagome laughed nervously, "It's now a really good thing I don't have to kiss Koga now."

"I can't wait to kiss Kagome!" Koga squealed in his head.

"Koga did read the editing in the script right?" Jakotsu asked himself after getting off stage.

Meanwhile, Miroku and Sango were in the costume department, fixing the details of their outfits. They both didn't speak to each other and just silently kept to themselves. They could hear everyone scuffling around on the floor, laying the props across the stage. Sango drank twos sips of water and grabbed a can of hairspray, taming her hair. Miroku adjusted his necktie and fluffed around his bangs. The stage lights were slowly turning on, signaling it was almost time to go back out. They both started to make their way back behind the curtains, when Sango broke the silence.

"Miroku, I'm nervous." Sango said lightly.

Miroku felt his heart calm itself,
"I am too."

Sango blushed,
"Why would you be nervous? You swoon over women all the time."

"None of them are you Sango."

Sango couldn't help but feel her heart well up inside,

"Miroku, you really mean-"

Her words were interrupted as the curtain rose and they had to switch back into character.

Detective Miroku and Sango reached the first floor to find no sight of Maid Kagome, but another note on the floor.

"Bring us $1,000,000 in cash to get your husband and loyal employee back safely. Call the cops and we WILL know."

"Who is 'I'? And why does he want them both?" Sango wondered out loud.

Miroku's eyes widened in anticipation and fear,

"Its him, the man I have been trying to arrest, it has to be. I knew it!" 

Miroku grabbed her hand and led her out of the estate to the streets. He handed her a key,

"This is the key to my office, lock yourself in, they could capture you next."

"I'm not going anywhere!" Sango retorted.

"Listen closely.." Miroku leaned in

Sango began to blush, she kept her emotions as hidden as possible to match the part, but her face was saying it all.

"Head to my office and I will need to go to your bank and withdraw the money as to not seem like a set up.  I want to protect you and keep you safe, I want you to know how much your safety means to me Mrs. Sango..."

He paused and grabbed her hand to kiss it lightly. 

Sango felt her face turn even more red, this was not scripted, this is all Miroku's actions.

Miroku continued with a whisper,

"I must go,  please do as I say."

Sango nodded instead of saying her line, exited off stage left. Sango ran straight backstage, her heart pounding in her chest,
