My lovely angels, it's finally Christmas time, and I couldn't be more excited! How about you?

A big thank you to eccyuk for the amazing request. I sincerely apologize for the long wait—school has been incredibly exhausting, and I've been so tired I can barely keep my eyes open when I get home. I truly hope this one-shot meets your expectations, and that the wait was worth it, even just a little bit.

The Russo family living room buzzed with its usual chaos. Justin sat at the kitchen counter, hunched over a textbook titled Advanced Transfiguration for the Diligent Wizard, his lips moving slightly as he read through the dense material. His brow furrowed in concentration, the only sound in the room the occasional scratch of his quill on parchment.

Across the room, Max lounged on the couch with a bag of chips, laughing hysterically at a cartoon that no one else in the family found funny. The chaotic sound of chip crunching and over-the-top slapstick humor echoed around the room.

In the corner, Alex and her twin sister Y/N huddled together, poring over an ancient-looking spellbook. The book, older than both of them combined, had a distinct smell of dust and mischief—an aroma that suited Alex's intentions perfectly. The pages were dog-eared, and there was something slightly mischievous in the way the book fluttered on its own every time Alex turned the page.

"This is going to be amazing," Alex whispered, her brown eyes gleaming with excitement. Her finger jabbed down at a specific spell on the page, her grin widening. "This is the one."

Y/N leaned closer, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. She wasn't entirely sure about this plan. "You're sure about this? I mean, what if Mom and Dad find out? We'd be in so much trouble." She gestured to the living room as if to highlight the delicate balance of chaos they were about to disrupt.

Alex scoffed, waving her hand dismissively as she stood up. "Please, they're at the sub shop all day. We've got a solid two hours before they even think about coming home. And besides, Justin deserves it! He's been walking around like he's the king of all wizards ever since he aced that test. We're doing him—and the universe—a favor."

Y/N snorted as she imagined Justin strutting around the house with his usual self-importance. "Fine. But we have to be precise. This spell looks complicated. You know, for all the times we've tried to prank him, things always go a little haywire."

Alex grinned, her eyes twinkling. "Relax. We're pros at magical chaos. What could go wrong?"

The spell in question was harmless enough: a prank that would temporarily give Justin cat ears and a tail. Alex and Y/N had already practiced the incantation on an old stuffed animal that now sported animated leopard spots and twitching ears, sitting proudly in their bedroom. But this time, they were after something bigger. The ultimate prank: Justin Russo, wizard prodigy, turned into a cute little kitten.

Justin was the perfect target. He was always so serious, so studious, so predictable—and his perfect score on the wizardry test had only inflated his already insufferable ego.

With their wands at the ready, the twins crouched down behind the couch, their eyes narrowed with mischief. Justin, deep in his book, was oblivious to the impending chaos. Max continued to watch the TV, utterly absorbed in his pointless show.

Alex and Y/N exchanged a silent signal, both taking a deep breath in unison as they prepared for their magical attack. They raised their wands.

"Felidae features, furry disguise,
Ears and tail shall now arise."
