The heavy iron door was unlocked by Damien's retinal scan, and Olivia immediately ran at the fastest speed of her life, rushing to the door to call Orion over for help.
They sped all the way to the hospital, and Damien was pushed into the emergency room.
When he was pushed out, it was already late at night. Damien was out of life-threatening danger, but because the IV drip contained sedatives, he probably wouldn't wake up until daytime.
Olivia kept vigil by his bedside all night until she saw the clock on the wall.
It was already past noon, and Stella's birthday party was at three o'clock in the afternoon.
Although she was very worried about Damien, something had happened at the birthday party that was the beginning of ruining her sister Lily Carlson's reputation. Olivia had to go and stop it!
After checking with the doctor about his condition again, Olivia looked at the sleeping man beside the bed and tore off a sticky note to leave Damien a message:
"Dami, I need to go take care of something. You rest well. I'll be back soon! XOXO!"
Leaving a kiss on the sleeping man's face, Olivia placed the note on Damien's bedside table and weighed it down. After giving Orion a few instructions, she finally left.
In the banquet hall, Stella checked the time, her eyes filled with annoyance.
Beside her, her mother, Megan, asked, "That little bastard Olivia Carlson hasn't arrived yet? Could it be that what happened yesterday was really her scheme?"
Yesterday, in order to create an opportunity for Mr. Novak, the couple pretended to go upstairs to rest, but actually went to stay at another apartment after a while and didn't return all night.
It wasn't until they came home the next morning that they found their daughter alone in her room, in a daze.
Only when asked did they find out that Mr. Novak had somehow gone to Stella's room yesterday, while Olivia had long disappeared!
Thinking about her daughter being defiled by that disgusting old man, Megan trembled with anger!
Stella's eyes were also filled with rage. "How did I not know that little bitch had this ability? I think it's all because of that disgusting old man. He wanted to sleep with that bitch, but she kicked him out, so he ran to my room in resentment!"
Megan nodded in agreement. "I also think that little bastard Olivia doesn't have the brains for this! Her memory has been altered by Evan, so she can only obey us!"
She changed the subject and gritted her teeth. "But Stella, don't worry. Mr. Novak definitely won't say anything about this. Although that little bastard Olivia might know, I have a hundred ways to keep her mouth shut! So Evan definitely won't know about this! You just pretend nothing happened and carry on with the birthday party as planned!"
Stella nodded. "Mom, I know, but I'm still a bit worried. Evan didn't plan to propose to Olivia at my birthday party so soon. Could his sudden decision be because that little bitch said something to him?"
Megan sneered upon hearing this. "Hah, she wouldn't dare tell Evan about this kind of thing! Evan suddenly moving up the time might be because he has other plans on his end."
Stella also felt slightly relieved because of this. "Okay. But why hasn't that little bitch arrived yet? It's almost time!"
Just as they were talking, a servant rushed over. "Miss Olivia has arrived."
Upon hearing this, Stella immediately put away her original expression and went over with a smile, probing, "Olivia, you arrive so late! By the way, why did you leave home yesterday without a word?"
Olivia observed Stella, admiring her mental fortitude in her heart.
After what had happened, she could still hold a birthday party with a smile. That composure really wasn't ordinary!
However, it seemed that Stella didn't know about the class group incident yet? She hadn't paid attention to her phone?
It seemed like it would be even more interesting later!
