She nodded to her assistant. "Show Mr. Nolan the contracts we've prepared."

The assistant promptly took out three copies from her bag and handed them to Evan. He meticulously went through the document, and after ensuring everything was in order, passed it to his lawyer. The lawyer quickly scanned the terms, then gave a nod. "The contract is fair and in good order. Mr. Nolan, if there are no objections, you may sign."

Evan suppressed his rising excitement and swiftly signed his name. Jennifer also picked up a pen, adding her own elegant signature.

"Miss Stewart, I look forward to working with you over the coming year!" Evan stood, shaking Jennifer's hand, while his assistant hurriedly snapped photos of the moment.

"I'm looking forward to it as well," Jennifer replied with a polite smile.

That very afternoon, Nolan Medical Group announced Jennifer Stewart as their global ambassador, and the news quickly trended on social media. Photos from the signing event, including a shot featuring Jennifer's manager, were shared widely.

While some fans expressed disappointment—mainly due to Evan's past controversies—a large number of Jennifer's devoted followers defended her fiercely: "Her decision is always the best one. When the stock market reopened that afternoon, Nolan Medical Group's shares rebounded from their recent low and began to climb. Evan sat in his office, watching the numbers rise on the screen, a smug smile forming on his lips. Negative press? What did it matter? He had turned the tables. Even his father had called, offering a few words of encouragement, making no mention of the previous threats to hand the company over to his brother.

However, minutes passed, and Jennifer still hadn't responded. Puzzled, Evan clicked onto her profile. It was filled with casual selfies and promotional shots for the products she endorsed. A flicker of doubt crossed Evan's mind, but he quickly reassured himself. The contract was clear and binding—what could possibly go wrong? Perhaps Jennifer and her team were simply too busy to engage on social media today.
