It has been four months.
"The bed feels so empty without you." I stared at the sky before trying to hold my tears that were already rushing out.
It has been four months.
"Miss na miss na kita, Drey." I whispered in the air before wiping my tears.
I then took a sip if coffee before admiring the view of his condo balcony. The same view that we would share when we're there talking to each other like we wouldn't be seeing each other tomorrow.
The smoke was the most thing he hated. Me too. But now, I wanna inhale all that smoke if it means remembering how happy we were before that night. I wish I could relive all the moments we shared leading up to that night and freeze a time-loop, so that we'd still be happy.
"Kuya." I heard a faint voice coming from a man that was peeking out the balcony door. It was Layn curiously looking at me.
"Oh, bakit?" I wiped my tears and looked at him.
"How was therapy?"
Malaking tulong." I said honestly. It was the best decision I made that Layn influenced after that faithful night. I had been getting nightmares and have been constantly depressed but therapy really helped me recover.
Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na all the time had passed already. The first year of my college is done and Layn's third year too. I'll become a sophomore and Layn will be a senior student. It has been so hard studying just a semester without him. I wasn't the brightest student and Drey would always help me with computations and calculations, luckily Luke has been there to support me too—that guy is one hell of a bright student.
"I really miss him." I said while holding my tears.
He was taken back by what I had said.
"He's getting better daw. Nakakalakad na siya nang mag-isa pero he still needs time to be fully healed."
