I was watching the Doneetolva brothers in front of me.

Layn would put his arms in his brother's shoulders but Liam would just take it off.

I let off a big sigh. I know Liam has a soft part for his little brother but he has this wall which makes them apart. I know when time pass by, that hindrance will be gone.

Seeing them like this makes me happy. It's like I am bringing them together.

Suddenly when they were busy buying, Layn rotated his head to my direction and he made a thumbs up.

"Thank you." He mouthed.

I just nodded before I smiled.

After we kidnapped Liam back at the school. We immediately treated him street foods. I was quite aware that he likes Filipino street foods because back then when Layn wasn't in my condo, he would always buy and eat it there.

I told Layn that maybe treating his brother would make Liam listen and — I guess it's working.

I was busy eating this orange goofy looking thing when suddenly my phone rang.

It was mom. I just sighed before looking at the two sitting in front of me.

"I'll be back in a minute." I told them.

Hindi ko na sila hinintay na sumagot pa at lumabas ako sa food plaza.

"Mom?" I asked.

"I heard you got along with Arlene? How did it go?" Her voice seemed excited which made my blood boil a little bit. She perfectly know that I have a girlfriend yet she's here, making me date random girls I don't even know.

"It went okay. She's nice." I said plainly.

"Well, keep up with that. Make sure — ,"

"We're just friends and I made sure to tell her that the first time I saw her." I said.

"Axl! Your father would be mad — ,"

"I don't care mom. But — please, if you cannot respect Valerie as my girl, respect her as a woman. I love her and I am lucky that she understands this dating shit I have to do for both of your satisfactions. I've had enough mom. Goodbye. Love you." I ended the call.

Agad akong bumalik sa kinauupuan ko kanina and I noticed that the two were staring at me.

"What?" I asked as I inspect this orange thing again. It's weird but it taste good.

"Sino yun?" Tanong saakin ni Liam.

"My mom."

"Ah. Siguro tungkol nanaman sa mapapangasawa mo?" I heard him chuckled a lil bit.

My mood seemed to worsen as he continued to tease me about it. He knows very well how much I love Valerie and dating girls while I am on a relationship is the last thing I wanna do.

It's just that... I don't want any people getting hurt anymore because of my freaking dad.

"So? When's the next date — ,"

"This isn't freaking funny Liam!"

I almost slammed the table upside down when I stood up and pushed my hands on the table.

As I was turning my back, a grip have had me turning back. Handa na akong suntukin siya pero nakita ko na si Layn ang nakahawak sa braso ko.

"Uhh — kuya. Sorry."
