"Wow." Ry and I say at the same time as Tiana steps out of the changing room.
She looks beautiful. She always does, but it's rare we get to see her in a dress. The pale purple dress flatters her small figure in every way. The ruffled sleeves of the dress lay lightly over her shoulders and the neckline dips down, revealing just enough of her ample cleavage to draw my eyes for a second longer than is polite. The hem of the dress ends an inch or two above her knees, showcasing her smooth tanned legs. I glance down at the shoes we chose as well and see they fit perfectly and look good with the dress.
When I look back up at her face, there's a light pink tinge to her cheeks and she's nervously fidgeting with the tie on the front of the dress. A wide smile stretches across my face.
"Does it look okay?" She asks.
"Okay?" Ry breathes out harshly. "B, you look amazing."
"You don't think it's too much... for me?" She asks, biting her lip.
"Doll, you look like a dream." I tell her, stepping forward. "Perfection in purple." I gently pick up her hand, lifting it up. "Give us a spin, Doll." She smiles at me before I spin her around, still holding her hand.
"Thank you. Both of you." She says looking first at me then at Ry. "I actually really like it. It's making me rethink my stance on dresses." She laughs lightly.
"I think this outfit is incredible, but you're missing just a few things." I tell her.
"Like what?" She looks down at herself then tilts her head in confusion.
"Just a few accessories to tie everything together, Doll." I smile before looking at Ry.
We turn around to the table behind us and pick up the two additional items we chose for her while she was changing.
"First," Ry starts, picking up the sunglasses he chose for her. "Because you chose a pair for each of us." He walks over and gently places the sunglasses on her face.
They're black with simple plastic frames, but each lens is shaped like a heart with the outer corner stretched to appear almost cat-like. Tiana turns to a nearby mirror outside the changing rooms to look at them.
"These are so cute! Thanks, Ry!" She smiles up at him and gives him a quick hug.
"My turn." I say grinning at her. I keep the necklace I've chosen hidden in my palm as I walk to stand behind her. "Mind lifting your hair for me, Doll?" I say.
She gathers her wild raven curls, holding them up on top of her head with one hand and dropping the other. I carefully reach around in front of her and lay the necklace around her before fastening it, letting my fingers linger on the nape of her neck for a few seconds. She drops her hair and removes the sunglasses to look at it.
