"How many people did you invite, Doll?" Asher asks me as a knock sounds on his front door.

"Just Liz and four guys from the team, I promise." I tell him as I walk to the front door. When I pull it open, all four guys I invited from the team are standing there. "Hey guys! Come in!" I step to the side as I open the door wide, gesturing for them to enter. "Did you all carpool or do you just have impeccable timing?" I laugh as I close the door behind them.

"Hey, Tiana." Adam smiles at me as we all walk into the living room. "And we carpooled."

    "Smart move." I laugh.

    "More like practical." Mike scoffs.

"What do you mean?" I ask as the guys all sit down around the living room, joining Asher and Ryker. They all nod a greeting at each other.

"Ethan and Tyson don't have licenses." Adam explains. "And Mike lost the coin flip, so he drove." He grins over at Mike who rolls his eyes.

"So, Tiana." Ethan smirks at me from his spot on the couch next to Ryker.

"Yes, Ethan?" I ask as I sit down between Asher and Ryker.

"Who else is coming?" He leans forward to rest his elbows on his knees and looks at me around Ryker. "I know you said this was just a chill kick back for Benet's birthday, but there's more people coming, right?"

"Why Ethan?" I tilt my head in mock curiosity. "Don't think you can keep up with us? Maybe we should have invited someone closer to your IQ level." I grin at him. "You know, I bet my 8-year-old brother is free today. Maybe I should invite him over to play with you."

Asher laughs and Ryker smirks at me, giving me a subtle fist bump.

"Or you could play with us, Tiana." Tyson cuts in from his spot across the coffee table from me. When I look up at him, he's smirking mischievously at me. "We could show you what it's like to be with a real athlete." He blatantly runs his eyes down to my chest and back up to my face before he winks at me.

"You better watch your mouth, Harris." Ryker growls at Tyson.

"Oh, come on McPherson!" Adam laughs. "We're just messing around."

"Yeah! Why don't you let the girl answer?" Tyson adds. "Maybe she wants to play with us." He turns back to me as he leans towards me. "What do you say, baby? Wanna know what it's like to be with a real man?" He winks again.

I can feel Ryker tense up next to me, so I subtly press my thigh against his as I lean forward, propping my elbow on my knee and dropping my chin onto the palm of my hand. I flash Tyson a bright smile before I speak.

"Why?" I tilt my head. "Do you know one?" I can feel Ryker relax a fraction on my left and on my right Asher lets out a chuckle.

"Well played, Doll." Asher says quietly. I turn and give him a wide smile.
