On Wednesday night, I get a text from Liz, a friend from my art class, inviting me to a party on Friday night.
Normally, I'd decline because Friday nights are for movie night and I don't go to many parties, anyhow. But the longer I stare at her text, the more I think about the fact that I'm leaving on Sunday morning for camp. I want to pack in as many good memories into this summer as possible, so that when we look back on it, me being away for a month isn't the thing we remember the most. That was the biggest reason behind the bucket list.
Eventually, I text her back and tell her that I'll be there, with Asher and Ryker in tow. I'm sure Asher will agree easily and with a little whining I know Ryker will cave.
After a quick conversation with my mom to get permission and work out a few details, I open the group chat with the guys.

10:39pm Tiana: Liz invited us to a house party on Friday! And I told her we'd go.

10:40pm Ry: What about movie night?
10:40pm Tiana: I already talked to mom. We're starting movie night at 6 so we can watch the first one before we go.

10:41pm Ry: I'd rather watch movies like we usually do
10:42pm Tiana: Wow. The lack of enthusiasm for a house party is astonishing for a pair of 16 year old dudes. ):
10:42pm Tiana: Come on! We haven't been to a party since Mary's boring AF Christmas party in December! We need a better party memory.
