"I'm starting to get seriously freaked out, guys." I tell Ryker and Asher as we walk out of the cafeteria towards our lockers.

"Maybe she really means it, Doll." Asher says carefully.

"I still don't trust the bitch, B." Ryker counters.

"Neither do I." I tell them. "She's been freakishly nice to me all week. She brought me a coffee this morning."

"You didn't drink it, did you?" Ryker asks quickly.

"Of course not, Ry!" I turn to look up at him on my left. "Give me a little credit! I was born at night, not last night. I tossed it in the trash as soon as she walked away."

"Good." Ryker nods as we walk up to our lockers.

"But she's kept this act up much longer than I thought she would..." I say slowly as we all open our lockers up. "What the hell is she up to?" I wonder out loud.

"Maybe she's actually trying to make amends, Doll." Asher suggests as he shuffles the books around in his locker.

"I fucking doubt it." Ryker mutters, and I want to agree with him.

"If it ends this war between you two, I say you give her a chance, Doll." Asher says gently. "Things are starting to get out of hand."

"That's a good point, Ash." I say as I pull out my Spanish textbook, deciding I'll come back after 4th period to get the stuff for the rest of my afternoon classes. "An arrest record would not look good on my college applications." I say, my eyes wide as I shake my head and close my locker.

"So, consider giving her a chance to put all this behind you two, Doll." Asher shuts his locker and leans his shoulder against it as he looks down at me. "If she's being honest, maybe you can relax and enjoy senior year."

"And if she's still a lying bitch?" Ryker asks, closing his locker and arching a brow at Asher.

"Then I will help you plan your next move, Doll." Asher says, looking at me. "But isn't it worth the risk?"

"I guess." I mumble quietly. "I'll think about it." I sigh.

"Great, that's all I'm asking, Doll." Asher says with a smile.

"I still can't believe Nico gave her my phone number." My jaw clenches at the thought. "After what happened on New Years' Eve, he still fucking talked to her and he gave her my number!" I shake my head slowly.

"Have you talked to him about it yet, Doll?" Asher asks me.

"No, I've been avoiding him all week because I don't want to fight." I look down at the textbook in my hands, trying to hide my face from them. "But I'm sure he'll find me sooner or later. He's like a heat-seeking missile."
