After the 4th, July continued in the fashion we were all used to. The guys and Abi returned to summer session workouts and I spent most days with Carter and Dillon.

Dillon and I spent most mornings baking things from his recipe books and in the afternoons we'd take our creations to the skate park with Carter and share them with her friends as we watched them skateboard.

Mom worked more hours than usual, in hopes of sending Abi to college with a little extra cash in her pockets, so we didn't see her much. She always made sure to be home for movie nights on Fridays and Sunday morning pancakes, however.

Asher, Ryker, and I spent nights crossing more items off our bucket list.

#1: Beach Day - We drove to Lone Ranch Beach and spent the day walking along the sand and body surfing in the waves. We stayed for sunset and on the way home I fell asleep between the guys on the bench seat in Ryker's Bronco.

#5: Geocaching - Turns out there aren't a lot of caches in rural Oregon, so this only lasted about two hours so we ended up spending most of the night in our booth at Benny's, which led to the completion of item number 8.

#8: Karaoke at Benny's - The boys refused to participate at first, but eventually caved after I sang 'The Middle' by Zedd, Marren Morris, and Grey. Asher followed with 'Girls Like You' by Maroon 5, then we took it easy on Ryker by picking 'Tequila' by The Champs for him. I wanted all of us to sing one together, but Ryker refused so Asher and I sang 'We Are Young' by fun.

#9: Camping - I wasn't too thrilled with the idea by the time we got to it, because camp was looming over my head, so we camped out in Ryker's backyard instead. We also made this another 2-in-1 by combining it with item number 10.

#10: Outdoor Movie - Asher brought his grandfather's vintage projector and film collection and the guys set up a white sheet as a screen and we watched old black and white movies all night.

#11: Planking - This one we decided to spend just one Sunday afternoon on, because there weren't a lot of places we could achieve a decent attempt. Asher was weirdly good at this and ended up with some really clever spots while Ryker chose one relatively easy spot and refused to participate further.

#14: County Fair - We drove up to Grants Pass for the Josephine County Fair and spent the day walking around playing games. Turns out, I'm terrible at Fair games, too. Ryker won another stuffed bear for me at the Strong Man game and Asher won a giraffe wearing sunglasses for me at the dart throwing booth. I convinced the guys to ride the roller coaster with me and when we got the souvenir picture at the end all three of us were smiling. The guys decided we all needed copies of it.

Tonight, however, we were completing item number 12: Concert.

This was one that I had been most excited to add to the list, and already knew how we would check it off the list.
