I'm walking through a field of grass that reaches my knees. When I look up, I'm standing in a meadow filled with bright wildflowers in every color of the rainbow. The meadow stretches on as far as the eye can see. The sun above me is bright and warm on my skin as it shines in a cloudless blue sky.

I take a deep breath and the scent of fresh grass and summer fills my senses.

'It's so beautiful here.' I think to myself.

I feel a smile stretch across my cheeks as I close my eyes and tilt my face to the sky. I stretch my arms out and spin in a small circle, breathing in the beautiful moment.

I open my eyes and start to run around the field, frolicking in the grass and giggling like I'm a little girl again. I jump and dance in the light breeze that makes the blades of grass sway and brush against my bare legs.

When my legs tire and my breathing gets heavy, I lay back in the tall grass and look up at the sky. I look over and see a tiny, beautiful flower in the most amazing shade of purple. I gently pluck it from its stem and examine it between my fingers before tucking it behind my ear. My smile never leaves my face.

I lay back in the grass and close my eyes against the sun. It's warm, but not hot with a cool breeze. It's a perfect summer day. My breathing slows as I relax into the ground, feeling a wave of peacefulness wash over me.

     Beep. Beep. Beep.

I sit up and look around.

     Where's that sound coming from?

     Beep. Beep. Beep.

I stand up and spin around, but there's no one else here. I'm all alone in this meadow.

     Beep. Beep. Beep.

The sound continues at a steady pace.

I start walking, looking for the source of the strange noise, but all I can see is grass. The field stretches out as far as I can see in every direction. Then I hear a voice.

     "Please keep fighting, B."

     I know that voice. That's Ryker's voice.

I spin around, trying to find him.

     But there's no one there.

     Beep. Beep. Beep.

"We need you." He whispers. It sounds like he's right next to me, but I can't see him.

A feeling of uneasiness begins to fill my body and I start running. Desperately searching for my best friend. His voice is so sad and soft. I hate it.
