Gally grabbed me angrily away from them and took me to the pits "Gally!"
The others tried stopping him "get Thomas in the pit now!" The few that were helping Thomas put him in the pit and Gally looks at me before shoving me in the pit.

I just held Thomas close to me "why are you doing this?" I asked Gally.

Gally looks at me sadly before leaving.

Soon enough I felt myself falling asleep.

Thomas POV
"It's okay, I'm here" I heard McKenna say before I passed out.

"Who put us here?"

Memories kept going through my mind of different people.

"That we don't know"

A women in a coat looked at McKenna before slapping her.

"You will do as I say! I am your mother!"

I stared at McKenna from across the screen we were little kids as a women whispered in her ear on what to do.

McKenna looked at me "McKenna why are we doing this?" I whispered to her.

I was kissing McKenna on the bed getting on top of her as she took her shirt off "I love you Thomas."

"I love you too."

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Thomas"

A women stood by me as I watched McKenna in the distance
"Thomas come with me"

I watched her being taken away from me.

"Thomas." McKenna kept saying my name repeatedly.

"Gally has been taken" she cried while hugging me tightly.

"Why did we do this?"

"Wicked is good" a women spoke.

"How could this be my fault?" My voice spoke.

Alby , Newt, Gally , Minho and McKenna were all in the tubes screaming under water like flashbacks before my eyes.

"I saw you!" Alby was in the tube screaming at me.

Gally was screaming in his tube. "MCKENNA!" I heard him scream out.

I came up to McKenna "I can't keep watching them die." "How do you think I feel Thomas?" McKenna yelled at me.

I woke up a tear going down my face "Hey" McKenna spoke smiling down at me.

Her beautiful brown eyes and brown hair making her look even more beautiful than words can explain.

I couldn't believe we went through that. She went through that.....

I still didn't love her any different.

I know now that I love her even more "Are you okay?" She asked me.

McKennas POV

He stared at me like he didn't know what to say I played with his hair hoping he was okay.

Thomas leaned up a bit like he was going to kiss me but stopped seeing the others.

"What the hell were you thinking?" Chuck asks him.

I looked over seeing Chuck, Minho and Newt. I smiled at them a bit.

Thomas sat up staring at me.

"What happened?" He asked wondering why he's in a pit.

"Gallys taken control" Minho said.

"He said we had a choice. To join him or get banished at sundown with you" Newt said.

Thomas looked at me shocked that I joined him "I didn't really have a choice Thomas. But I'm on your side" I said.

He smiled taking my hand.
"The others agreed to that?" He asks.

"Gally has convinced everyone that your the reason all this is happened and me." I said looking down.

"Well he's been right so far" Thomas comments making me confused. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"She's right what are you talking about?" Minho asks.

"This place....its not what we thought it was it's not a prison it's a test. It all started when we were kids. They would give us these challenges they were experimenting on us." Thomas spoke.

"And then people started disappearing" he looked at me.

Every month one after the other, like clock work."

"They were sending them up into the maze" Newt comments.

"Yeah... but not all of us. Well for a while." He said.

I realized "no..." "what do you mean?" Newt asks.

"Guys I'm one of them. So is she..... well for a little bit until she got sent up way before me..."
He said looking down.
They all looked at us surprised.
I was afraid they were going to hate me now, I didn't know how to respond. How could I have done this to them?

"The people who put you here. We worked with them."

"McKenna you betrayed them. They sent you up here for punishment way earlier than me for a reason" Thomas said.

I looked at him confused as he continued.
"I've watched you guys for years. The entire time you've been here I.... I was on the other side"

"We did this to them to you." He said looking at me.

I shook my head putting my hands on my head "I don't believe that you're lying!" I said starting to cry.

He shook my head "it is I saw it it's true" he said.
"It doesn't matter though" he said grabbing my hands gently.

"He's right." I looked at Newt.

"It doesn't matter. Any of it" he stared at me.

"Because the people we were before the maze they don't even exist anymore these creators took care of that." Newt mentions.

"But what does matter is who we are now and what we do right now." Newt stared at me. I looked at him holding Thomas hand tightly.

"You both went into the maze and you found a way out" he looked at Thomas.
"Yeah, but if I hadn't Alby would still be alive" Thomas said.

"Maybe. But I know that if he were here. He would be telling you guys the exact same thing." Newt reminded.

"Pick your assess up and finish what you started" Newt encouraged.
