Ch.19

"Hang tight" Jorge said walking away.

"Okay I got it" I said. "Minho ready?"
"Yeah"

Minho soon pushed me as I tried reaching the bar.

I almost got it but I grunted as I didn't reach it Thomas yelled out of frustration, "push harder!" I shouted whispering.
Minho kept shoving me but each time I would either spin around or not be able to.

"MINHO!" I shouted frustrated.

"Come on Minho push her harder!" Thomas encouraged.

Minho held me close to him I felt his breath on the back of my neck as he talked "one.... Two... three" he pushed with all the weight he had I grabbed ahold of the bar almost hitting my head in the process.

"YESS!"
The others cheered.

I moved up right to face the lever while yelling.
"McKenna hurry up!" Thomas yells.

I grabbed the lever and lowered us.

They yelled but I stopped it in time to where I could stand up I untied myself quickly.

I went over to Newt quickly pulling him to me, as well as untying him and helping him to where he can stand.

"Thank you" Newt said pecking my cheek. I blushed and went over to help Thomas.

I helped Thomas next, who then stood up.
I heard someone yelling on a loud speaker "return them to us unharmed and we'll consider this a simple misunderstanding."

"Hang on guys!" Thomas yells.

"Minho!" I reached my hand to him.

He grabbed it I pulled him over helping him.

Newt got Aris.

Thomas got frypan and Travis.

"The hope of a cure is in your hands" I didn't really hear what all he said  as I was focused on helping the others.

I was untying Minho as quickly as possible.

"The choice is yours."

All of us started running I held Newts hand " let's go let's go!" We were barely out of the room when a man showed up pointing the gun at us.

"We're not trying to cause any trouble. Okay?" This brought back flashbacks of Gally.

I quietly whimpered holding onto Newt.
"We just got to get out of here" Thomas said.

"Is that so?" He asked.

"Janson, I got 'em for ya. Especially the girl I'm bringing them down" my eyes were wide.
"Don't shoot us"

I looked at Newt "come on let's go" the man orders.

"I said let's go" he ordered us again.

Thomas went forward grabbing his gun and moving it to the side quickly as the man shot it.

Thomas started fighting the man.

He soon head butted him,
Making the guy fall down.

Thomas ran over to him but stopped when the guy pointed his gun at him.

I pulled Thomas back quickly with the rest.

"You little bastard!" He yelled he suddenly grabbed me and pointed the gun at my head.

I didn't move as they watched "don't hurt her" "why would I hurt her when she's very valuable?" He smirks.

Suddenly a gun was shot making me almost scream. The man fell down and I turned around seeing the girl.

Newt pulled me into a hug tightly I hugged him back.

"Okay. Come on Let's go" the girl urged us.

I followed her holding Newts hand in the process. The others followed but I noticed Travis standing there staring at something.

I looked at him confused while Newt pulled me with him.

Travis looked up at me before continuing to follow.

I heard music suddenly playing I looked around confused.

She brought us up the stairs to where Jorge was at last.

"Brenda" so that's the mysterious girls name.

"Hurry. We don't have much time! Let's go let's go let's go!"
The man ordered us so we followed.

"Right this way!" Jorge pushed open the doors a zip line went to the other building.

"Oh you've gotta be kidding me" Frypan said.

"Plan B hermano" Jorge comments.

"You kids want to get to the Right Arm?" He asked us.

I looked at him "I'll lead you too them"
"But you're gonna owe me."

He pulled the zip line down he stepped back before going.

"Follow me!" He yelled.

"Alright!" Brenda said grabbing one.

"Let's go!" She shouted "come on" "okay go go!" Thomas urged.

I watched as Minho went, then Aris soon went.

Followed by Travis and Frypan.

Newt was going to go next, but he looked at me worried "I'll be behind you!" I said encouraging him.

He soon went.
I looked at Thomas hesitantly.

He didn't have any expression besides being worried
"Brenda where are you going?" Thomas yells.

I looked at Thomas before saying,
"Thomas you have to hurry" I spoke up "just go, go! I'll be right behind you" he came over gently cupping my face and kissing me I kissed back passionately. "Okay go go!" He shouted. I soon took off with Newt catching me in the progress.
