Ch.1 The Death Cure

Thomas and I had a plan we were going to do it.

We had to.

For Minho.

I drove fast as possible catching up to the train, I knew we were late "come on McKenna!" Thomas yelled.

I stepped hard on the gas peddle now speeding, "Brenda were coming up behind keep em busy!" Thomas yelled over radio.

"Hang on!" I yelled. I kept speeding I somehow got the vehicle up on the train tracks as I drove as fast as possible.
"Come on, come on" I whispered trying to keep up.

"This is crazy Thomas!" I yelled.

"But you love me!" He yelled. I smiled to myself Thomas unbuckled himself getting up.

He held on the vehicle as I was getting it closer.
Thomas started climbing up he soon stood in front of the vehicle trying to reach for the train.
"Get me closer!" Thomas yelled.

I tried my best stepping further on the peddle.

He had a hook and soon stretched it to the train, he jumped up and grabbed ahold of the ladder.

"Come on McKenna!" Thomas yelled at me.

I looked at him hesitantly I still had my hand on the wheel, I got out slowly almost falling off making me gasp.

I stood up on the vehicle when one of the tires went off the vehicle.

I stumbled almost falling off the vehicle.

"MCKENNA!" Thomas screamed.

"Grab my hand!" He reached his hand out "JUMP!" I stood up I soon ran and jumped taking his hand.

I grunted when I hit the wall kinda.

He smiled gripping my hand. The vehicle soon detached itself flipping over, I covered my face.

"Shit" I said looking back at it.

"Let's go!" He yelled he climbed up the ladder I followed.

I stopped seeing something "Hey Berg!" I yelled.

Thomas looked behind us. A berg was following closely, "hey Brenda!  you got company!" Thomas yelled on the radio.

"Go, go, go!" Brenda shouted over radio.

The Berg started shooting at Brenda and Jorge.

"Thomas and McKenna you guys are on your own don't die." Brenda said.
"Very encouraging Brenda" I whispered.

Thomas looked at me, "Good luck" he said on radio. "Let's go come on!"

Thomas climbed up higher, I followed in suite.

I noticed guards in the distance on the train,
Thomas and I were running and jumping from train to train.

Thomas suddenly stopped me, I jumped down the lower level I laid on the floor trying to detach the train carts.

"Give me the bag!" I yelled.

He jumps down next to me, he handed me the bag and got his gun out.

I tried to figure out how to detach it. I had an idea. I heard shooting as I looked up and seen Thomas shooting at the guards above.

"Mckenna??!?" Thomas yelled at me.

I soon figured it out setting a bomb, "we're set ! Cover your ass!" I yelled.

I let go of the pin and yelled "take cover!"

He jumped over he pulled me on the ladder, which were on the sides of the train.

I held on tightly covering my face as I heard a explosion.

The train was slowing down harshly. The other part soon detaches and still went.

I jump down with Thomas I whistled in a certain direction.

Newt pops up smiling at me and started running over.

"NEWT!" I yelled waving.

Newt and the others came over with bags.

I started banging my hands on the train, "MINHO?!?" I yelled.
"MINHO??" I heard yelling and what sounded like Minho, "it's this one!" Thomas confirmed Newt who came over.

Newt set the bag down, staring at me and smirking.

He covered his face with a mask and started trying to cut through. "Oh shit it's going to be close" I heard Thomas say.
I looked seeing the guards heading our way.
